So here's the scoop
We will be running the V8 mod using the same tracks that the GBR series will be running. That way guys that are competing (or may want to compete) can get some extra practice in.
We will have a support series for this event. We will be running the Mini Z mod at the same tracks. Fixed setup. These cars are a hoot. And on the small club type tracks should be a blast.
V8 - Open Setup Mini's - Fixed
The support series will kick off at 6:30 on a separate server. So those wanting to practice for the V8 ran can do so up to the normally scheduled qual time. The Mini Z race will be one 15 minute sprint race with a 5 minute qual and no warm up.
The V8's will consist of two 20 minute sprints. First race you must use soft tires. The second race you must use intermediates. The add in, you can run softs in race 2, but you must make a 4 tire stop halfway through.
Updated 6.4.13 We will be using skins for this so it will make it easier to manage. The default paints are cool too so if you don't feel like painting you're covered. You will need to pick a default car to run and post it in the Team Car Choice thread. This way I'll know where to put your skins

Yes sir,
We did this with the VW Bugs a few years ago and those were some of the best races we have had.
I am currently uploading the files and will have the Calendar posted tonight.

Hey Rod,
Glad you are joining us. I thought for sure they were in the download. I'm looking elsewhere. I'll keep ya posted. You could always strip down an existing car and repaint. I know not the best but it works in a pinch.

I have been looking everywhere and it looks like they didn't release any to keep the game pure.

Ced, Which version of the V8's are you going to be running, 2010, 2011, All Seasons or Community Edition? I'll try to make as many races as I can DaveS

I've just returned from Maine. I've had some family problems and had to go up there three times. So I have had no time to practice or test. And I've had puter problems on top of that. All that to ask for some kind soul to give some setups for the sedans ( probably the Ford ).
