I see part two is out. Are we going to be running the new version at Spa? I've been able to download part two but not the new Gem version so far, file not found error message.

I've now got all the pieces, just waiting on confirmation as to which version we're going to be running. Update sounds great BTW. ;D

I will defer to Rob on this but I would probably say not till the following race. I need some time to put on both PC and server and test to make sure no bugs.
I had an issue with the first one that took me a couple days to resolve.

I have pt2 up and running and don't know how to get back to pt1 if I had to now. Thus I am in anticipation.
BTW the setups look to require some additional rear wing to hold the rear end down. Otherwise it seems the pt1 setups look acceptable. Wings are now a part of the GPL program setup so no more need for wings in GEM. That is a good thing.
Guess I better figure out the pt1 thing again just in case though.

I have the original part1 up and running as well as part2 so either way is OK by me.

I'm posting this here and in a new thread.
For Spa this weekend, we will run GPL69 Part 1... not Part 2. Main reason for this is that Ced has indicated by email to me that he has some concern about not being able to have the server ready for Part 2 by Sunday.
I am also somewhat disinclined to switch to GPL69 Part 2 in the middle of the season. Although I suspect most of us will be able to make the jump to Part 2 easily, I don't want to lose anyone who may have problems making the switch. That said, and being a Libra, I will leave it to a vote of the participants as to whether to run the balance of the season after Spa with Part 1 or Part 2.
Ced, I know I didn't run this by you other than our email correspondence, so please let me and the group know if you have any additional thoughts. I will post a poll after Sunday to get everyone's else's thoughts on the switch.
Spa race announcement will go out tomorrow night. Also, FWIW, I may not be at Spa due to a weekend trip my wife Stacey and I are taking for our 6th wedding anniversary. I'm not sure when Sunday night we'll be getting home.
