Carpack Unzip to temp folder and copy the Toyota folder. Copy that folder to your rfactor IMSAYears\ folder Updated 1.9.15 (Zip File) If unclear on how to apply read below.
Track Pack 2 Browse to the root of your rfactor install. For example C:\rfactor. For Win 8 users I would suggest installing to a temp folder and copying data to the correct folders. Updated 1.15.15
Interlagos. Better visually and pit out Updated 1.17.15
Tony's Momo C9 Browse to the root of your rfactor install. For example C:\rfactor. For Win 8 users I would suggest installing to a temp folder and copying data to the correct folders. Updated 1.23.15

Momo Lancia's. Updated 2.7.15 For those that have no issue using the Install as is, point to the root of your rfactor install and run. For those having issues, create a temporary folder on the drive of choice, for example d:\tempimsa. Run the install and point to this folder. Then using windows explorer expand the folder until you reach the IMSAYears folder. Right click and copy the Lanica15 folder to your existing IMSAYears folder.

T.j's Car. Updated 2.18.15 For those that have no issue using the Install as is, point to the root of your rfactor install and run. For those having issues, create a temporary folder on the drive of choice, for example d:\tempimsa. Run the install and point to this folder. Then using windows explorer expand the folder until you reach the IMSAYears folder. Right click and copy the Lanica15 folder to your existing IMSAYears folder.

Track Pack 3 Released 2.27.15 Unzip to temp folder and copy tracks to your locations folder. (Jerez and Moscow) Rest later this week.

Track Pack 4 Released 4.5.15 Unzip to temp folder and copy tracks to your locations folder.


For Zip File, Win 7 and 8 in Desktop mode Scotti's Car
1) Download file
2) Right Click and select Open With
3) Select Windows Explorer
4) Double click rf, double click GameData, double click Vehicles, double click IMSAYears.
5) Right Click on Toyota and select Copy
6) Go to your \GameData\Vehicles\IMSAYears and paste the Toyota folder, select Yes to overwrite/merge

Here is a base setup to load so gears and all are set if you are having difficulty.

Install Instructions
For the Group C cars please check the car folder for a Car template folder for the template.
This is a self contained release. Please do not unzip and place inside and existing rfactor 1 install. Integrity of files and car performance can not be guaranteed.
This example is using Windows 7 and the embedded unzip function.
1) Download file and save to hard drive.
2) Double click on file so it opens in windows explorer
3) Right click on folder (should say IMSA_V5) and select copy
4) Copy the folder to the root of your C:\ drive or other drive of your choosing.
5) Go to the IMSA_V5 folder and find the rfactor.exe, right click and select "Send To" and select "Desktop (Create Shortcut)"
6) Rename shortcut to your desired name.

Note: If you are running windows 8 / 8.1 you will need to copy your rfactor.exe (12.55g) to the imsa_v5 folder.

The Group C Toyota and Nissan Require manual creation. The files are in a template folder in the new download which should be up tomorrow.
The other Group C cars have files in their folder.

If we have the previous V5 installed can we overwrite it?

I would delete it and replace with this one just to be sure. Overwriting should work but deleting is absolute.

Ok so I tired to install the NEW version and have corrupted my entire RF1 folder. HOW THE HECK DO YOU INSTALL THIS ?

It is a complete standalone install of RF1. Don't add it to your existing install John, keep it completely separate. Once installed, if you want to keep your existing user data then just copy/paste your player folder from the old install into the new one.

Look....I'm not that good. So stand alone means nothing. The other files were an EXE file. How do I make the stand alone work ALONE ?

John, once you d/l the files just point to the drive on your computer you want to use and install it. Once installed you can copy and paste your driver files from the older version to this one. I also recommend you delete any short cuts you have on desktop to the older versions

I'm sure I am just missing something. I need a simple step by step please

1. Dowload files.

2. Create folder ?

3. place files in folder ?

4. Send rfactor exe to desktop as a shortcut ?

something like this please since i am just not getting the stand alone thing nad I ruined my old Rfactor install by placing these files in the same folder

Download the file
Right click on the imsa_v5.zip
Select Open with (compressed) zip folders
Right click on the IMSA_V5 folder and select copy
Open Windows Explorer, in the left pane, if you don't see drive letters click on computer to expose your drives
Right click on the drive you want to install the mod and select paste
Now go to your (For example) C:\IMSA_V5 folder and right click on the rfactor.exe and post the shortcut to your desktop. You can now rename it to what you want.
If you are running Windows 8 there is an additional step and let me know.
