I have seen many of you on the server without an issue so I have no doubt you have everything where it needs to be. But just to make sure.
Note: If you have not been on the server yet or started to practice please see the News section for the items you need to download.
All PORRS cars for this race are in the PORRS10 folder.
1) Make sure you have a PORRS10 folder inside your ESPGTR1 folder. Similar to \rFactor\Gamedata\Vehicles\Panoz\EspGTR1\PORRS10
2) Inside the PORRS10 folder should be all of the team names competing in the race. (Make sure there are none of these cars in your root EspGTR1 folder.
3) Optional (Do if having problems seeing a car) Open the folders to make sure there is a .veh and .dds file in the folder. For multi car teams you will see more than one of each.
4) Please select your car from this folder. These folders have updated .VEH files so there shouldn't be any pit overlap after qual.
If you have all of this you should be good to go.

As of now the only car file I am having problems with is Kevin Jay's. I've downloaded the link to his and Charlies zip file from the News area but have been unable to see Kevin's car, I just see the #55 when I go to view his car in the game.
I've also noticed that there are two cars in different folders using #57. These are in the Team FSR and MNRL Racing folderes. I'm not sure if that will cause any problems or not.

Dave you are fine then. Kevin has not submitted a car and at by Tuesday, he will need to pick a car from the game to race.

I sent a screen shot of the PORRS10 folder file structure, can you post one here to let us see everything we should have in it ans how it should look.

i`ve dloaded ever file twice. getting rfm mm and track scn mm. also doesnt recognize my car.  i`m working on it atm so hopefully by race day i`ve got it straightened out. |

I downloaded your car file from the link in the News area of the Forum and here's what the problem is. The PORRS10_29.veh file has your DDS file as: "DefaultLivery="PORRS10_P29.DDS" - WITH A "P" all that needs to be done is either rename the PORRS10_29.DDS file to PORRS10_P29.DDS or open the PORRS10_29.veh file using Notepad and delete the "P" from the "DefaultLivery="PORRS10_P29.DDS" file. Ced, I think this is going to be a problem for everyone. DaveS ;D |

Dennis,
I will have it corrected for you to download. I thought I had fixed that. I would rather everyone have the exact same files rather than editing them on their own. So far this has worked flawlessly.
Charlie,
Other people have had the problem you have because of where you got your files from. Please remove everything you have regarding your car and porrs from the ESPGTR1 folder. Please go to the NEWS section in the Forum and start from the bottom and follow all the directions. IT WORKS...TRUST ME. ;D

ok i`ve redloaded everything again. i can get on server with 2k3 default car with np. reinstalled my car and i get server doesnt recognize vehicle. can anyone else try getting on with my car?fatboy racing. tia

Hey Charlie, I was able to connect without a hitch using both of the vehicles in your folder. Had a little trouble looking past the uhhh, uhhhhh, mmmm, "hood bulges" though. :-)

Charlie,
It sounds like you are not selecting your car from the PORRS10 folder. Do you have a copy of it ANYWHERE in the Panoz folder. If you are saying you are re-installing your car. Where are you getting it from. Is it from the download in the NEWS section. If you have that car folder inside the PORRS10 folder and you select that car to race...you should be fine. It has to be the car you are selecting. If you want to send me a screen shot of your ESPGTR1 folder I should be able to tell you what is wrong.
