Do any of you guys know how to open/modify .gmt files? If so, would it be easy to teach me? I figured out how to open .mas files and found some .gmt files inside that I'd like to have a look at. Doing some investigating in the hopes that I'll figure out how to get new Panoz, Riley, etc. carfiles to work in the mod. I think the answer is in those .mas and .gmt files somewhere. Could be a wild goose chase but worth a shot.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Sandy,
It's a little more complicated than that ;D. I use David Noonan's 3DEditor. You need to convert all the graphics files over to DDS files (unless the car model is looking for bmp or tga's, I've had some work without converting). Then you must convert the GMT files to the current Gmotor Engine, Then you have to edit the Gen files "CORRECTLY" and have a correct and compatible physics model. Oh yeah, an hdv file. Then if you're lucky, you will see the car.
That's the High Level view

Okay that's sounds a wee bit too ambitious for me I'll just use one of the default cars when I choose to run the Panoz. Thx for the response Ced. SandyR

Hi Sandy,
That wasn't meant as a deterant. It's just a lot more work and it can get addictive and also FRUSTRATING....lol when you think you have done everything right and it still doesn't work.
