I noticed that some of the fellow PORRS drivers are able to announce when they are pitting or exiting the pits, I found the quick chat buttons are not binded to any keys and when I tried just one of them in a test run it didn't do anything.

Is there another way of making the quick chat messages, there isn't anything mentioned in the manual either?

Use the Quick Chat assignment buttons to link to your Quick Chat messages to the buttons in the assignments Menu.

It is a TWO step Process, First Go to the Quick Chat Message(QCM) Menu and edit your Chats…remember what QCM assignment numbers. Next, in the Key Assignment (Mapping) Menu assign the Button to your QCM…then you should be all set…
