This is in your .plr file
Rearview="1" // 0=Off, 1=Center and Side, 2=Center only, 3=Side only

Sandy,
What did you do to fix your Mirror issue last night as it seems others have the same issue.

I set the rearview= 2 (Center only). Did that and the images in the virtual mirror were no longer distorted.

Mine was (and is) set on 2 and I still had distorted images, but it seems to only happen on Sunday nights. Offline, and last night when there was only one other driver on the server, it worked fine.

Interesting it worked for you last night because as you probably noticed, you can see the servers in Matchmaker again. I made a couple changes to the server.plr file and maybe that fixed the mirror issue.

I had problems last night running the new Ferrari GT2 with the VOR folks. The problem was, the mirrors were facing down so bad I couldn't see any cars until they were on top of me some time after the blue flag came out. All I could do was try and hold line. I made some improvment by adjusting my seat position but then I was so high I couldn't see the track very well.
Anyway, that was that and here my mirrors are fine. A note about adjusting mirrors though. Beyound the PLR where we can call for the center mirror, Center and side combo of none, there are indications of mirrror Vertical and Horizontal setting also. It would be nice if there were comments as to what these settings were supposed to do. As yet I do not see what if anyting happens when altering these settings. Are we supposed to be able to get mirror adjustments with these? That would be very nice since there are cars with more and less visability from cockpits such as the tin tops with that sun visor obstruction to a degree. Adjusting the seat to get mirrors right might reduce road visability such as I experienced last night.
Does anyone have comments about these settings or mirror adjustment in general.
Hope all get their mirrors resolved. I sure need mine and work hard to keep them clean or replaced at all times.
Thanks,
Larry
