A premature post-race for me. Hadn't set a wheel wrong the whole time, leading the race, just pitted and was about 5 seconds up on Brent when the screen froze, then went black. A total lock-up. No idea what happened since I always End It All to make sure nothing like this happens, but I guess this just wasn't one I was supposed to win.

Thats too bad Paul. Witht he screwy mirrors I couldnt really tell how far you were behind me...what does .6 really mean afterall. So I wasnt shy about giving you room early to get by. Probly was a mistake because it didnt look like I was ever gonna get back by. I didnt push too hard during stint #1, I hoped to make it by during pitstops. Turn 2 on my in lap I looped the car and lost 10 seconds. Managed to make up 5 seconds or so the pitstop and then you were gone. I kept the gap to Sandy at about 6 sec for the next 15 minutes but with 10 min to go turn 2 hit me again, this time I put it into the barrier and tore the front off, settling for P3.

Kind of an odd race for me, Qualifying got me 6th on the grid, had a blinding start on the green and wormed my way up to third I think, settled for 4th after I think a Reynard shot passed me, I had trouble with the mirrors as well so I was probably a little to cautious with traffic.
I wound up spinning the car at the sharp left at the end of the back straight, and wound up down in 7th for most of the race, I think someone must have dropped out of the race as I am suddenly 6th (might have been forddude as i remember passing him at what looked like he had just had an off).
I eventually gained 5th and it stayed that way for the rest of the race, overall I'm happy with the result as I started 6th and was able to put in a personal best of a 1.42 at the penultimate lap...which was slow compared to the front four seeing as I was almost a lap down on 4th place.

Red Weasel Reports:
That was some great racing, but a lot of cussing as well, Example: !*^$^&*& Hairpin only going !$#^* 30 MPH and I !%@# spin!
Just for fun I drove the track in my BMW M3 and found I was almost as fast as the Reynard, the BMW seamed to grip the track a bit better and I was able to take the twisty bits a little more aggressive.
Even with that and my mistakes I wanted to thank everyone for such a fun time. Now that it is Tuesday I can relax a bit after racing Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday…
So the Reynards are getting prepped for the last run in the season and we are coming to show our stuff.

I suck, but at least have fun doing it....lol ;D Man what was I thinking picking this track. It was fun when I tested and absolutely different and something we hadn't ran before but man was this tuff. If you were on you were on. If not, you found a lot o concrete and grass.

I liked this track. I probably wouldn't want something like this every event, but it made a nice change of pace. It was a real challenge with all the changes of elevation.

Yep I agree with Paul. The fact that at this track I almost ripped the steering wheel off of its mounts evry other corner just made it more interesting....I enjoyed the challenge ;-)
