Same to you Klaus,
If you run the GTP's I'am here.
Not sure I want to signup for rFactor. Still don't like the 3 strikes and then look for more tickets to run what I already paid for. Has a strange sound to it.
Thanks again for an enjoyable season and, as you, I have enjoyed running with everyone. Wish more had stayed with us for the entire time.

Download fixed.
This is the ini for the standing start lemans. We can run one practice start if someone is not familiar with this.
Just remember to keep your foot on the brake until the green flag drops and only pass to the left of the car in front of you. We did this for the porsche race and it was a blast.

Well I spent all week practising on the other Le Mans track so it took me a few laps to get my setup working and to get to know the track. I just about lost it in the S's during qualifying, I lost the rear end and banged into the right outside fence but still managed to qualify P2. Had a good start and stuck with Scott until that 90 degree right hander were the car didn't turn and I wound up going up into the bank on the left side of the turn and got turned around. Tried to straighten myself out about 5 times but just kept spinniing so I said the h*ll with it. Congrat's to the winner and I'll see you all next season. Have a great holiday all ;D

It sure is hard to get these cars down to 50-60 mph and get around those sharp corners. Had a couple offs in this one, hopefully got it out of my system for the 24 hour race. Because of the mistakes I wasnt able to make up any time on Scott, probly wouldnt have got close anyway since he was cruisin pretty good. Settled in to P2 after Dave's misfortune and stayed there for pretty much the whole race. Thanks for the fun racing this season and thanks alot to Ced for providing a place to run.

hehe, yeah, I was running pretty consistantly until coming close to my 2nd pitstop, I couldn't figure out which key deselected the tires for the pitstop...well, as I frantically pressed buttons, I accidently minimized the game while going down the mulsanne straight, managed to get it back fullscreen without the game crashing, and the car was only off in the grass a little...then after the mulsanne corner got up to speed, then totally forgot about the turn coming up that I needed to slow down for, went off at about 190mph into the wall, got on the brakes, but still just slid all the way past the next turn and flew over the sand bank around the turn and somehow landed back on my wheels. But at least I know spacebar unchecks the tires now Scott

Had a good run overall at Lemans last night.
For some reason, I was thinking we started at 7:30 PM instead of our normal 7:00 PM, so I just made it in before qual.
Qualed P6... np... qual position don't matter a whole lot anyways.
Good start, although I think I was tapped in the back a bit, but I just drove away. First couple laps were fun in the draft, which I needed cuz by myself in the Jag I could only get to 213. Got to 222 once in the draft... good stuff.
Had two self spins at the right-hander exiting the esses. I had the brake bias so far back that I couldn't turn and brake at the same time. Figured that out about 4 laps in. LOL.
Was trying to keep with Brent as we were battling for the overall and GT1 championships. I needed to finish 2 spots ahead of Brent for the overall. I thought I had a chance when he spun and I got by, but he made up the distance quickly and blew by me on the straights. I tried to keep close at one point by drafting Brent with Bob behind me, but Bob and I got together under braking... again, thanks for the kind comments, Bob, but I don't think out incident affected my finish position... I couldn't stick with Brent and Scott anyways.
Motored along through the rest of the race, and actually improved my rhythm in terms of braking points and lines. Wound up in P3.
My brief review of the points places Brent as the Overall Champion, but I may have taken the GT1 series championship. Nice running Brent to get the Overall (assuming my math skills are functioning).
Looking forward to another season with you guys!
Rob

Yeah that was me Rob, I was on the outside of you and as I saw you coming over I slowed down so we only touched a little.
Well that bobble on the start put me behind Clown man and I wasn't about to let the leaders get away. So using the Sauber power, Hitting 226 going down the mulsane i slingshot by Bob and headed for Brent and Scott. Was running P3 the beginning part of the race and was keeping Brent in sight. Then coming through indy I saw a black mark on the sand. Looked at my F2 and saw it was Brent. Settled into running some consistent laps and staying in 2nd for awhile. Brent and I came in to the pits on the same lap and as I tried to beat him out I sped and the race went into the tank after that.
I should have the site updated by Wednesday with the points and all.
It has been a blast racing with you guys this season and I hope the love for this mod is still there in January.
