Congrats to Sandy for the win and SBN for the 1 - 2 with Tom finishing second.

I figured I had a 5th place car until I got some setup help and made a gear change then Q'd 3rd for the race. I got bushwhacked by Greg at the start and that lead to a multi lap, back and forth, I pass you, you pass me slug fest. And while all of this was going on we were closing in on Tom, who was in 3rd at the time. I made two mistakes that took me out of the running. The first one was a tank slapper out of T11, only time that happened in the race and the car wasn't quite right after that. Then the one that cost me was the spin out of T1 and losing a bunch o time. Was fun while it lasted. I could see on the tracker that 2, 3 and 4th never got away from each other. Just wish I was part of the party.

Not sure why but for some reason I just can't get the hang of this mod? I've spent a lot of time practicing with it but I just can't control these cars. I tried Sandy's and Tom's setups and still was unable to run at a competitive speed so I gave up. After getting off the server I checked my pedals to see if they might be the problem but they are working fine. I was on line tonight practicing in another league and was able to run fast laps in that mod - FSone 2008 so I don't know what my problem is. Anyway, I'll keep running in the DTM series because they are a blast, as for this mod, sorry I just don't like it so I'll pass on the rest of these races

Well, that was fun! After botching up a qual setup I knew a 6th place starting spot was going to make it interesting....and it was. Got a fortunate break at green by getting a jump on Dave Slee and getting into 5th right away. The next several laps were spent in a donnybrook with Ced, Greg and Terry while Sandy was setting sail. Ced made a little error and I was able to get by him to begin chasing Greg. I got a great run off the last corner and was able to get just a bit ahead of him but not in a good position to make turn 1. As I skittered through there Greg showed great restraint by letting me recover without an incident.....thanks!....and I was able to continue on unscathed. For the next number of laps I was trying to chase down Terry while Ced and Greg were hounding me from behind and having their own little brouhaha. Terry had a problem in the next to last right hander and I was able to get by him for 2nd. After that it was just trying to be consistant and keep some tires on the car as I didn't plan on changing them. Catching Sandy??? Take another pill, Tommy, you'll be better in the morning After my very late race stop for fuel I barely had a lead on Greg but managed to hang on for 2nd. Great fun again.
