Bob, The price you see on the site includes everything, the seat, the keyboard tray, the shifter mount, and the monitor mount That's the main reason why I bought it over the other cockpits out there. Make sure you check out the "Products" page for the pictures of the new version that I'll be getting. From all the write ups I've read and the people that I've talked to that own one, it's supposed to be a great cockpit. Once I get it I'll do a review on it if you guys are interested. DaveS ;D

Now that Dave has efficiently riled everyone up ;D, to answer Toms question. Nothing from last season will carry over so you can blow it out. Yes you will need to install both links in the thread. The initial PORRS carset you downloaded will have an update to it once I get the painted skins. The download you have now will remain as a default carset so someone new can pick if they join later.

I don't think Jen (my wife) would like the idea of climbing into a cockpit to use the computer, once I have my own room dedicated to racing...and a second computer for my wife, then maybe one day I'll spend out on one Sounds like a nice setup your working on there Dave, only just worked out the kinks with this system in the last month with regards to crashes or lockups (international driver package worked for the graphics cards, don't know why but it does, and the graphics setup guide I found on Rfactor central helped).

OK I'm confused, or at least I think I am. Do I install both the ILMS and enduracers mods into the same rfactor install. Then load the porrs cars into a new vehicle folder named PORRSEND and load the PORRSend rfm? This is what I'm gonna try to do, but if that's wrong tell me now please. Thx ;D SandyR

OH one more thing Ced. I'm leaving for an 8 day vacation on Wednesday and won't be back until late on the 9th, so there's no way I'll be able to get my car (and Tom's) painted by the deadline. Would you mind if I submitted them a few days late?

I must have missed a post or two about which mod we're going to be using for the Prototype series. In the Sign Up area it says to sign up for the 09 Endurance series, can I assume that means we're running the Endurance mod?
(Just getting a little slower in the mind and on the track each year, LOL)

I had the same questions Dave, but sort of figured it out on my own.
Here's what I did:
1) Install ILMS mod 2) Install enduracers mod to the same rfactor install as ilms 3) Install the porrsend cars folder into the vehicles folder. You may have to create a folder named porrsend and then copy and paste from the downloaded zip. 4) Install the porrsend rfm to the rfm folder.
it seemed to work. I've gotten no confirmation that I did it right, so if this is wrong someone please speak up.
And Ced, could you please post more detailed instructions for installing this stuff?
Thanks!
SandyR

I've got all the mods and PORRS files installed and working fine Sandy, (thanks for the info though ;D ) and I'm able to get onto the server which is running the Endurance mod at this time. I'm just wanting to know if it's the Endurance mod we'll be using for the Prototype series or the mod we used last season. I'm trying to determine which class/chassis to use for this season and need to know which mod we're going to be running.

if you select the correct rfm that Ced has provided...you'll have acces to cars from both mods but with adjusted physics to the ILMS cars.....thanks to our almighty leader.

My P1 Zytek and the P2 Lola for Brenda have been uploaded to the PORRS09 folder -- Hamiltons.zip. Get 'em while they're hot!

I had just added my P2 Courage to the list, it's the BK sister car that never was (actually it's just an excuse to use the slightly modified paint scheme from 06, loudest prototype on the track at Laguna ;D ).

Gary, Is your friend Richard going to run this season. It would be the perfect time for him to start. While we are doing the practice races he can see if he likes it.
