Let me see..........my math ain't too good but seems like you take 2010 subtract 1967 and you come up with like somewhere in the neighborhood of 43. Aint no way. Not from what James says :-) grin......

I've added a poll to this thread. The first choice is for the admins to adjust the weight at the time of the race and each driver can use the car of his or her choice. The second choice is for each car to have a different weight by using modified HDV files. These files would be available for download and drivers would be assigned to a particular car to balance out the lap times. Weights or assignments could change from race to race based on results to maintain competitiveness for all drivers.
Everybody please vote for your choice by Sunday so that people will have have ample opportunity to practice with the weight or car changes. Thanks!

I think the 2nd option is the best one with one caveat. Take the Honda out of the mix completely. On the high speed tracks we are using the Honda will not be competitive under any circumstances.

I wasn't doing too bad with the Honda. Did you switch from the Pro to the regular tires?

Have you posted the cars with the new weights ? I'd like to try them out. And if we go with option two will we be assigned cars ?

Just as a suggestion, how about:
BRM 800 Honda 775 Cooper 750 McLaren 725 Eagle 700 Ferrari 675 Lotus 650 Brabham 625
That's not official, but you guys can mess with these numbers and see how the cars behave.

Ok, finally some time to catch up. I'll look at the command as well as the added weight in the file. I like that idea better because if you don't have the right file you will show as a mismatch on the server. The other issue is if you have to add the weight on each session, that would be a pain
