The curse of the Black Cat continues as I managed to avoid the worst of my handling issues but this time ran out of gas on the final lap, going from 2nd to 6th. But I still feel better about this race since I wasn't undone by something beyond my control. Congrats to Sandy, Terry and Greg for the podium finishes.

Well, it was a fiasco for me with more offs than I think I did all last season! Brainfade ruled the day for me...
BTW, I thought the driving was really clean and the drafting well done, which is not easy! Cudos to all!

Hockenheim was a lovely Sunday drive for me. I was in class of my own. Everyone just motored off into the sunset while I had a good look at the German scenery. I did happen to see Ced who had stopped to look around, I guess. But other than that it was a ride in the country.

had a flyer of a first lap, drafting by terry into the first chicane and taking p1 before lap 2. all was good for a few laps or so when i caught paul's handling virus. went backward in a hurry but kept terry and paul in sight. the grip came back and we had a nice battle, all 3 of us exchanging positions more than once. i finally tried too hard and pressed a pass on the inside of paul into the 2nd chicane, taking out both miskas. watched the replay from terry's car and the smoke was everywhere, he just got thru! sorry to sandy for 'squeezing' him wide ala schuey vs. rubens at hungary, i really misjudged your closure rate and my 'aero challenged' slow block came across as a deliberate chop.. my bad. i really like these cars but those laps on ice were awful--i feel your pain, paul

Yeah, the corner marshals need to be a lot better about waving those oil flags.
