After hitting Bob, Sorry Bob :-Xthe race was screwed f.i. These rolling starts are allowing people to jump the starts and thats not right

I had a good race. Sandy got past me on the second pit stop. I worked my way back up to him. As he usually does he let me by after I caught up and waited close behind for a slip on my part. I gave it to him on the up hill over the bumps. It just takes getting a little frisky getting back to the gas and around I go. The downside of going very fast is being right on the edge. One step over the line and there goes a couple places. I had a good chase and race with Scott L. I finally got by on a not real clean pass but could not catch Sandy again. It was good racing all the way. Traffic was not a problem. Maybe I'll keep it going all race next time.

Well imagine how stupid I feel. Talking after the race I found out for the first time that the boost is built into your setup. I have always thought I was running without any boost. I went into the setup and sure enough..........full boost. No wonder I got lousy gas mileage. No wonder I was so competitive in the early race. And I thought I was just having a great race.

Well another race, another dnf. I'll finish one of these d**n things sometime.  . The nissan ran decent but i still have alot to learn about these cars. Hung in there for a little bit then made a few small mental mistakes. Was still doing...ok. until i almost did a superman over the front of Daves car when he had problems at a blind corner. All in all it was still alot of fun and look forward to trying it again the next race. Congrats to the podium finishers! |
