Hey Guys,
Race 10 of the PORRS GPL69 inaugural season will be run tomorrow night at the normal time. The Season Finale will be run on at Mexico City, the original Papy version.
The Driver's Meeting was sent by email earlier today. Please reply here or by email to me if for some reason you didn't get it.
Hope to see a good group for the season finale
Cheers! Rob

High time we close this chapter on GPL at PORRS.
The Mexico race was exciting though the turnout wasn't as good as am sure was hoped for. We missed Rusty and everyone who did spend some lap times with us over the season.
I tried to run a consistant race and did fairly well. Had my share of offs and tire encounters. Sorry for Ced's last turn spin that unfortunately gatherd Dave. My luck to escape that adventure provided me with enough time to hold off the ever charging Dave. I believe my tire encounter in the esses accidently caught Dave who was close behind, sorry Dave if I did.
I really enjoyed this season of GPL and wished I could have attended more races.
I am glad to have a couple of wins over the season, though both wins came without Rusty in the lineup. We all know the outcome if he had been there.
Congratulations Dave on a fine season and taking the trophy for top honors.
Thanks to Ced and Rob for providing the hosting and postings. Great team.
Larry

Thanks for the comments Larry.
We'll see what happens in the future with GPL69.
I'll send the final standings around to everyone shortly, although I don't think the Top 5 changed after the Mexico race. Evening work obligations kept me from getting to them as quickly as I had hoped this week.
Thanks to all who participated. I really enjoyed running with you all for this season.
My Mexico race was steady, although not spectacular. Don't know what happened on the start, as the car drifted hard right under power (maybe it thought it was a top fuel dragster for a moment). Settled down and ran fairly consistent laps I think in the 25s and 26s... a good bit off from Dave and Larry, but good for P3. Very challenging track for these cars, especially since we could not run over the tires like we could in GTP... LOL!
Talk to you all soon! Rob
