Now those were some great races.
Congrats to Mark for battling back to win race one with a hard charging Pat and Congrats to Harrison in race 2 for his first PORRS win.

I had something for Mark in race one but burned up my tires trying to get close that allowed Pat to get past me while I waited for the car to equalize on old tires. Then I started to close the gap but by then it was too late. The battles with Harrison (nice stuff pass), Tom, Mark and Pat that was some of the best racing I have had in a while.

All in all that was some good racing tonight by all.

Darn........I almost did it. I was briefly in first place in the second race. I had been making up big time on everyone into turn one. Everyone was swinging wide and I chose to keep it tight. But, it bit me in the butt while leading Nolan. I went wide in turn one and ran off the track and he passed me. I never could repass him. I could only ride behind and hope he made a mistake. Which........he didn't. He drove a great race. If I couldn't win my first overall then I'm glad for Nolan. Oh well second place isn't so bad.

These sedans are a surprise. I didn't think I'd enjoy them but they have turned out to be quite a series. Some very close racing.

I have to say those were 3 great races. The 2 V8 races were just awesome. It was tough and clean racing with a great group. I am very glad I was there.

My apologies for stacking up our line at the start of race 2. The little 7 pin connector on my wheel came loose so I had no throttle or brake....didn't notice it until I revved the engine for the start and got nothing! I had a few seconds of panic as I tried to get it back in place as the clock counted down. Didn't quite make it and the field took off with me causing a road block for those behind. Sorry to anyone whose race got hosed because of that. I thought I might have had something for Bob and Harrison but after giving up all that ground at the start and then making multiple mistakes driving like a mad man to catch up I was lucky to finish where I did. I absolutely LOVE this mod!
