I'm noticing a great deal of video stuttering at this track. Anywhere at or near the pit straight is where it happens. Once you get away from that part of the track the stutter goes away. Anyone else noticing this?

I put about 50 laps in using both cars and did not notice any video stutter at any time on the track, while on the server

I've ran about fifty plus laps myself and I'm having no problems at all. And I don't have a high end PC and graphic card.

Sandy what car are you using. I'll run some laps tomorrow online. I remember that happening to me on virtua's lemans track when coming towards the pits and front straight. I think I had to turn some stuff down.

It happens with both the Lancia and the March. I've dropped the track detail to low and it hasn't helped. I am running DX9, so I can try to drop it to 8 or 7 and see what happens. I'll try some of the other cars as well just to make sure that isn't the source of the problem.
Normally my frame rates are in the 200s or more at any track and away from the front straight I'm getting those rates at Karjala. On or near the front straight they drop into the low 100s with lots of stuttering.

I'd try a new track install. Karjala is actually one of the most "frame rate" tracks I've run. I remember once before I had a similar problem but it was my internet connection. I've never solved any track problem using a different car. I would also try a different track to see if you have the same problems. That would be hard, though, to duplicate the problem if it occurs online. Does it just happen online ?

I turned the Shadows setting off and the stutter went away completely. I'd say this track has some frame rate hogs as this hasn't happened at any other track with my current gaming rig. Turning the shadows off is simple enough, and not something I would miss. Good to go now.

I've always had a low machine and have always turned off the shadows. So I guess I missed that tip. You got it fixed now GO !

Yeah I would have missed that too. I've always run with shadows off so this one would have taken a while. Glad you figured it out.
