Online practice

I don't see many racers' practice times on the PORRS practice times site. Perhaps they don't realize that the times turned offline and online are not the same. I thought I was turning some pretty good laps until I did some laps online. At least that's what I found.
I am not sure I'll be at Silverstone. Hopefully I'll make it because this looks like it will be a great race. I'd hate to miss this one after missing Imola.
BTW, still not sure when and if Terry, Tony and Alex will be racing again. And.....does anyone know what happened to Nick ?

My only disappointment with PORRS is the lack of group on line practice. In TPTCC you could find people practicing almost every night and it always helped me improve because I can ride with people and look at replay. I check the FREE (thank you, Ced) PORRS server with some regularity and never see anyone practicing so I just practice off line, too. Is there any reason why no one likes to practice on line here?

Same here Tom. And sometimes when I get on and find someone on they flee immediately for some reason. Not even a howdy do. They just leave. You know who you are :-)
It's like a big secret. I don't have anything to hide. But I guess they figure I can learn more from them than they do from me. Which is right. In the sim I guess they assume that the pre race practice on race day is simulated practice and the forays online during the week, private testing. Or they just want to post the fastest time.

I do know that it is hard to find a night when everyone can show up other than race night. Being retired I can do it almost any time.
But even I have to find a time that suits my wife.

Well the WSC70 race I planned to run today fell through so I'd be up for some Imsayears practice if anyone else is. How about 2PM Eastern time?
