Lotta fun that was.....got spun before the completion of 1 lap....have to wait for the field to go by....lose more time trying to get turned around to re enter the track and decide who cares at this point. Gonna be so far behind it will be like a 1 hour practice session all by myself....go have a beer.

Congrats to Sandy on the Win, pretty dominating. I had 1 shot to scare him a little but a false neutral killed that plan. Thanks for the room passing, and Thanks Ced for keeping this going. Cya on track.....................

Well it was fun for a while. After the first kerfuffle of a start "thanks for the re-do Ced". I got the right amount of wheelspin and shot into the lead. Sandy was pretty patient so it took him a lap or so to find a way by me. Then he was off. I saw him one more time as he came out of the pits. Then looking in my rear view when I should have been timing my turn in I got enough up on the curb to spin me into the wall. I chased Sandy and Rick chased me until Lap 13 hmm when I spun back into 3 rd where I stayed until the end. See you all next time.

Tom, you shouldn't have quit. I was even further behind the field. I have to admit, though, I almost quit too. My worse fear came true, a bad start. I had been having some really good laps in practice and felt that I could do pretty well. I knew there was no way to outrun the P1 drivers but I had hoped for a good finish in class. But in practice I was having a horrible time getting off the line and didn't know what to do about it. But, the start put an end to my hopes. After the aborted start, in which I got a pretty good start, we did it over and this time I tried to pass Dale's stalled Porsche but instead wound up spinning wildly off the track. By the time I got straightened out the whole field was long gone. I was dead last. I managed to catch back up and was working my butt off to try to get by Ced. I got by only when he made a mistake and had an off track excursion. Then I had a really great race with Dale trading places a couple of times. But I had brain fade going up through Eau Rouge and went off the track causing damage. I guess that damage did more than slow me down. In the first stint I stopped after running over half way and exited the pits knowing that I could make it the rest of the way on fuel. However, the damage must have resulted in more fuel usage. I ran out of fuel on the last lap just before the entrance to the pits. Bummer. Congrats to Sandy who was flying. And to Ced as well. He has that Toyota running really fast. I commend Dale Smith for his driving. Even though we were scrapping lap after lap we never had any incidents. It was some very some very exciting and clean racing. I felt very comfortable because I knew he wouldn't do anything wrong and I was hoping I wouldn't either. I feel the same way about racing Bowders. We should give Ced a pat on the back for what he's done with this mod. He has been working hard to perfect this mod, which I think should be our official mod. Like CMS has Endurance Racers and TPTCC has NAGT. As for Sandy, Rick and Scott, you guys must be using rocket fuel.

I'd like to appoligse to Tom for getting into him at the Busstop. He could not contimue after that and I just lost my enthusiasm for the race. I just wasnt "feeling it" yesterday for some reason which was odd because I am usually up for a track like Spa. Hopefully ill have my head back in the game next time.

No sweat, Pat, it's all good. The unfortunate thing was how and where I came to rest. Nosed into the wall and didn't dare back up until it was all clear. Had I stopped facing frontwards (or even backwards) I could have gotten on my we relatively easily. At that point I was going to be so far behind that I'd have just been driving around alone for the rest of the race with no hope of picking up places unless people discoed, which I don't hope for.

I doubt you would have been alone Tom . Bob had a horrible start and battled back for 5th. It may have been interesting if you stayed with the speed you had but at that point in time I see where a beer was more appealing...lol. Who knows if I had a better start myself, battled back from just ahead of Bob's start to finish 6th. Gotta say Scott LG had a great run. Wouldn't have been able to catch him so I'm happy with what I got. Sheldon also for the solid race and congrats to Sandy for the win. That was a good battle to watch in the early laps with Scott. Video is up, check the thread or website.

Oh yeah and Bob's move on Dale is highlighted in the replay. Well done sir and thanks for the complements on the mod. I never stop working on it. The wandering is out for the next release and working on a new engine package (not the Lemans pack) that is easier on the pedal and a higher idle speed. Some better view cockpits for some cars and a few other aesthetics coming for 2014-15.

Great race video. Nice camera angles and the great Ced commentary. Spa is a beautiful track. You are getting good at this video stuff.
