I was wondering why the Aussie V8 mod isn't being considered as a summer time mod. Last time we raced the sedans it was very competitive and was a ton of fun. To make it a little different we could run other tracks instead of the Aussie V8 tracks. But, if you'd still like something different, how about F1 1991 Classic ? Running tracks of that era.

Being a tin top sort of guy I'd go for anything with a roof....V8s would be awesome to me.

The F1 91 mod with a fixed setup is kinda what I am leaning towards. Either as a support race (which we have done in the past ) or and alternating weekend mod, I've been looking at the DTM 2013 mod. BMW, Audi and Mercedes. The sounds are good, the cars handle very well with minimum adjustment.

Alternating would be good. Tin tops are fun and F1 is something we might try. Our last F1 was a long time ago. It was a 67 F1 mod if I remember correctly. F1 91 might could use your tweaking to make it drivable for all of our drivers. Fixed setups for both the Tin Tops and the Formula cars would be nice. No hassle, just hop and turn laps.

I just saw this over at race2play last night (ran in the Vintage gtp road america) Thats another story. Mnrl must have run this at one time , it's over on race2play in the Events section. there is a read me file written by Norm about the Mod and what they did with all the credits too. www.race2play.com/schedule/show_event/14074I downloaded the mod (World sports car 1970 league edition). I took it out for a spin and It was very drivable and fun. You can put the car into a slide without loosing it, very cool. Plus it has 2 car classes S5000 (with the ferrari 512's & the porsche 917's) and a s3000 class which would complement our own 2 classes P1 & P2. If we could get permission to run this it would be a hoot. I'm asuming that the cars within the class are all the same in the league edition. Just a thought. I'm considering entering the event to see how the racing is.

Interesting Dale because I know before MNRL joined R2P I think we ran that (or maybe I'm thinking of the Can Am mod). I'll check it out.

I know what your talking about Ced I remember that mod too, but this one is based on the csgt group orrigional WSC 1970 mod it's a different mod with different Physics. The hardcorebase mod is very difficult to race in a league i think ,but what ever they have done for the league edition has made it very drivable and fun at the same time without being nearly as difficult to drive.

The League Edition name means that the physics for the cars are the same. The S5000s all drive the same and the P3000s match each others physics too. The cars are very driveable, nothing like the original version of the mod.
I raced these cars at Lemans a few weeks ago and had a blast.
