Not gonna make tonight's race....I'm just too tired and my sinuses are making me miserable.

Well I didn't get much practice for this one. Only a few laps. Arrived home 10 minutes before the race. Pulled all the fuel out of my race set and threw on some softs and went for it. Clearly I had no idea, but was able to snatch pole.
Had some wheelspin at the start and Sandy got by, tried to stay close but spun and when to the back. Once that happened I put my head down and started chasing. Finally after all the pit stops and 59 minutes I was right behind Sandy. I pushed and pushed to try and get by with a good move but was not able. Finally on the last turn I tried going around the OUTSIDE onto the main straight, but it was not to be. Sandy drove amazing and did not put a wheel wrong. I am happy to finish P2.
I also heard some on TS after the race talk about my ping and flashing. I am not sure how this is still going on, but clearly it is. My next step is to install a PCI-E Network card and see if that will make any difference.

I just got through watching the replay of the finish. John and Sandy really put on a show. Kudos to Sandy for his cool under fire. John was really putting the pressure on but just couldn't quite pull it off. The finish was almost as close as my finish with Dale. What was amazing is how John and Sandy devastated the rest of the field. Once again, I lost my cool. After getting by Sandy early in the race I proceeded to self destruct. Crashing under pressure twice. My car never was the same. I had to make three pit stops. One early on for repairs. My damaged car handled like a pig the rest of the night. I'm not evenly vaguely trying to say I had any chance against those two. And clearly, Dale owns me. Looking forward to the next race at the "canyon".

What a waste of practice and race time. Nothing was earned, just given away. Congrats Sandy on the Win.....
