Well... at least I had a load of fun, just can't find the speed to run up front.
Used my TrackIR to have a better view of the ARMCO apex in T1, that helped a lot, but I just couldn't get the speed. Had a few issues with full body contact, sorry to anyone I may have pushed up against. I do know that in Race 1 there was about 3 of us that tried to go into the chicane at the same time... didn't work all that well.
Thanks for the Racing'

I'm still feeling the wrath of Hurricane Arthur. Now on day 3 with no power and it looks like it won't be back on til tomorrow. Fortunately there was no damage to the house or to the family. Barring another freak early summer hurricane I should be able to make the next one. Congrats to the winners.

Wow Sandy,
Glad Everyone is Ok. Yes we had two new faces on the top step of the podium. Jimmy won race one and Carlos got race two. Race one had a little bit of a hiccup as some cars/drivers got better gas mileage than others and some had to pit and some ran out with the finish line in sight. That was corrected for race two. I had fun in both races. After a bobble in race one Miss Susan was giving me fits. She raced hard and I still can't see how she was able to go so Deeeeeeepppp in turn one braking. In race two I spent most of it smelling Carlos' exhaust. I don't know if i found something or his tires were going off or he was backing off a little just to make sure he made it but I started closing the gap but then with one lap to go I had to back off. I ran out of gas just before the start finish.
Kudos to Sheldon for his 2nd in race one and James "Head Weasel" Bowders for third in both races.

Very fun track. I got lucky with the win in race 1, because I pitted for a splash of gas to finish. Race 2 had me finding the wall a few times, but the track was so fun I didn't care. I loved how for most of this track I could just floor it and hope for the best.

Hello, I am sorry for not talking soon but my health has not been well all week. I was miss seeing Mr Sandy Robinson and Mr John Nelson for their fast racing. I am glad it is OK with them. My first race was not good as I was not thinking good. I did not set my car up for my Q and did very badly. At the start I was able to make positions up to take the 3 position. Mr scott Richards and mr Jimmey Regan were very fast as I follow Mr Jimmy Regan around the circuit I am able to attack him into the first turn and take over the 2 position. Mr Scott Richards had a good gap and I must run very hard to catch him. When I catch him and start my attack I am told to look at petrol, I calculate I will not finnish at my pace, so I slow thinking of mr John nelson race in the first where he watched the time to finnish the race. I try this looking at the time going across the finnish line after the zero, but my stupid thinking did not know I was not in first place and my time was not over when I crossed the line, I run out of petrol. Into the second race I am able to set my car for my Q and am told there is more petrol to finnish the race. At the start I push very hard to attack the first turn to get to the number 1 position and then to push hard my advantage. With my gap I am able to slow some to make the finnish of the race with the petrol I had. When I cross the line I have .2 in my tank

Hope you are feeling better Carlos. The fuel thing is tricky with these. As some have suggested "Get enough in the car to run out after you finish". Well if you are drafting or in a heated battle that rate tends to go up and you are watching the gauge with a couple minutes to go. I'll give it two gallons to the positive this time.
