Well that was a fun race. From the qual times you new it was going to be a battle at lease between Rick, Sandy and John. Who knew that fuel strategy would come into play on this one. Great battles all the way around. And thanks to the setup Fairy for giving me my first top 5 in a loooonnnngggg time. I was actually closing in on Scott late in the race until multiple brain farts ended that. We welcomed back Tony for this race. Gary and Scott R dropped in for a run as well. Good turnout everyone and thanks.

Not sure what it is about this track that seems to bite me on the first lap of the race. I had Sandy speed, but not John speed. Sandy drove a heck of a race, Congrats on the Win and to Bob for the Lites Win. Too many miscues on my part to even try to catch Sandy and John during the race. Bob and Tom seem to be going back and forth, should be a Great finish there. Thanks for the room passing on this tight fast track. Catch ya later.............Rick

Rick , thank you. I let you by because you were a lot faster than I was. I know everyone likes to fight for their position but when you are slower it only makes for more dangerous passes. I knew that you'd eventually pass me and I wasn't in a race for position with you and I was just holding you up. Most collisions are caused by the backmarker becoming a rolling chicane. I know I was one and still am at times. But, I'll be the first one to move over if I think you're faster even if I'm battling for position. I don't believe there is any reason to drive way over your car's abilities just to make it difficult for a competitor to pass. Last week Tom blew me away and I let him go when he caught me. This week I was faster. Maybe next season the snails like me can drive GT cars and let the aliens run P1 cars. That would help remove the temptation to over drive.

With a barrowed setup from Bob and one day practice time I really didn't know how this would turn out. Stalled the car at the start then had to remember what button to push to restart, finally got going just in time to mildly punt Scotty, sorry, in the rear but after that finally got going trying to play catch up. Did ok till an off road excursion dropped me back a little but no harm. 3/4 of the race in highway hypnosis kicked in and hit the guard rail and put it on its lid. Had a scary moment with Tom the way warp was acting with me. Hope I didn't cause you problems. All in all a good race and a lot of fun. Congrats to t he podium and can't wait till the next one.

Great win for Sandy. I tried hard, had to repass him 3X, but a miscue of stopping one lap early caused me to be ONE lap short on fuel. Live and learn, but Iat the time I thought it was better to stop early than to run out 1/2 way through the race. I'll have it figured out by the next one
