MOMO Lancia tests fall short of the Rick Rey Mercedes. Awesome lap Rick, I can't duplicate that.

Team MOMO might not make it to LeMans tonight. Very bad weather in our area. Tornado warnings, heavy rain and hail. If that persists, as usual, I will lose power. A downside of living in paradise. In any case I will have my fingers crossed. I would hate to miss the last race of the very best mod we have ever used. It will be like losing an old friend when we put this to an end. I would also like to thank all the members who have always supported this series. It feels like family. Seems like I know most of you personally, I'd like at this time to thank Scott Guererro ( hope that's spelled right ), Tony Smith, Sandy Robinson, John Nelson, Capn Dale for the help they have given me this season. I don't know another league that the members were so helpful. And Ced of course. Without him this league would not exist. Ced has carried the financial load of the promotion and the existence of this league. So we all owe him a bit "Thanks". I hope that all of you plus some more will be back next season to support PORRS in it's new mod and season.

Like Bob we had weather roll thru that that cut our power off till just about race time, I was lucky for that but did not get a pre- race practice nor did I realize that my wingman wheels force feedback did not load which made for a very touchy wheel, with no centering spring, oh well. Congrats to Sandy on his Championship Ced THANKS SO MUCH!!! for your DEDICATION and HARD WORK in getting and keeping this League going and running for SO LONG!!! Thank YOU

I was very very lucky tonight. My sim locked up during the race. Usually this is a disaster. I usually find myself crashed on the side of the track when the sim kicks back in but thanks to being at full tilt on the Mulsanne straight, my sim resumed with me just further down the track. Had it happened at any other spot I'd have been crunched and probably out of the race. And very lucky that the huge thunderstorm that occurred during the race never knocked out our power. But in spite of all that luck I managed to have a brain fart coming onto the start finish straight and plowed right into the pilings on the left where I lost a whole lot of time trying to extricate myself. How in the world did I do that ? In all my practice time I never had one bobble at that point of the track. The Mulsanne corner was where I was continually having big problems in practice. I was leading at the time but it was only a matter of time until Sandy and Dale got by me. I refused to have the damage repaired on the pit stops. I only lost one MPH on the straights and seemed to hold my own. Ced gave me really good start as I was able to draft with him right past Dale and Sandy into the Mulsanne corner. At that point not realizing how fast I was going, I bumped into Ced allowing me to get a better exit out of the turn. All sorts of mayhem occurred right behind me. So I got a jump on the field. My congrats to Sandy and to Dale for their great race. And thanks to Ced for helping me into the lead. Like I said this sim turned out to be the closest racing we've had in years. Too bad we have to move on. I really hope all of you return next season. Missed Scotti, John and the squirrels and the new rookie sensation, TJ Smith. And I'm sure I forgot someone.

Well i went with the flyer and not the down force. That enabeled me to get the lead at the end of the Mulsane, but I was toast in the twisties. Tried to stay with Bob to draft away as much as possible. But that eventually went away. Had good time management with Rick for a while until he caught me and I decided to pit to not allow him to draft with me to improve his time but I guess he was far from being ready to pit and that strat didn't work.
Good Race everyone. After 75 minutes of a night and day race the top 5 all finished on the same lap.
