Well the season end is upon us and I want to thank everyone that participated this season. Now with the season being over and the Summer off I would like you guys to think about a few things.
One of the main reasons I could not go out and actively try to recruit new drivers is because of the exclusivity clause I had with the Jr Team and this mod and keeping it tight. Using a generally available mod would make it easier to attrack more people. So I would like to ask each of you that plan to return in September, to find one person that you may race with in another league and invite them to join us. When we averaged 11 to 13, one extra person would get us 22 - 26 car fields.
Race Day and Time - I know Sundays have always been a bit rough and we have played around with time here and there to accomodate people. 6:30 is right in the middle of the Easties Family Dinner time for most. So the first question I have on this is would it be better to move up the time to 4:30 PM Eastern or push it back to 7:30 or 8:00 PM Eastern. I would be hesitant on going later because I know some of you get up early on Monday for work but if you are ok with it let me know.
The other option would be to change the day. I know many of you race in other leagues during the week and this poses another issue. The only days I could see that may be open for most would be Thursday or Friday. Wednesday could be an option but would have to check on everyones schdedule. Races would still be twice a month and more consistent (no back to backs). Start time though, would have to be 9:00 or 9:30 PM Est to accomodate the West Coast Drivers. So think about this as well and give me your ideas
Teamspeak - Some love it and some hate it. It does add a social aspect to the event. I run in two leagues where it is mandatory. There really isn't a lot of chatter during the Road Course races (except the the occasianal comment that everyone laughs at). I don't want this to be mandatory if it is going to drive people away. But it would give us the opportunty for some bench racing before and after the race.
