Can't wait to race with the PORRS family again. Love the sound of that V 12 Ferrari.

3 Days and counting til the PORRS Holiday Race and the times are dropping. Make sure to check out the Hotlaps page to see where you rank. But the ultimate equalizer at Lemans, can you drive fast in the dark. This isnt the usual PORRS Season finale circuit. You can get it wrong big time in a few spots, just enough to keep you honest in the wee hours of the morning.

Rick was torrid tonight. I drafted him and Scott for a while then I dropped off and they hooked up and made a dash into the sunset. I was all alone and losing ground every lap. I did manage to catch up to Rick late in the race but he was just coasting. Felt I had second place nailed then I made a huge mistake at the White House Turn and banged the wall rather heavily plus spinning wildly out of control. By the time I righted the ship Sandy had passed me. And I had damaged my car and it lost top end and grip. I made too many pit stops too. I gambled with an untried setup and it turned out to be geared too low and was a gas hog. But this is not about me. Rick and Sandy were, as usual, putting on a show. I think Scott must have had an incident too. Because suddenly he was dropping back badly. I sent Ced my collection of WSC 70 tracks. I think you'd all enjoy them. Hopefully Ced can have monthly race or something. Good to see the old gang back. Congrats to both Rick and Sandy...........and to Ced for putting on the race.

So sorry about that Scott. We will probably do this quarterly so you'll have another shot with the gang.
I was looking at having a decent finish but my ongoing screen minimize in 1 hour got me again and I ended up in the field trying to find my way back to the track. The first couple of laps were promising. I could suck up to any car hitting 220 and having to tap the brake to keep from hitting the car in front. So I started my long haul of trying to make up spots. Some by attrition some by racing. Tom and I were going at it good and then something happened to Tom. Need to look at replay to see where he went.
Looking forward to the next one and hopefully more racers.
Congrats to Rick and the Podium. Give me a couple weeks to get the trophies ready for shipment.

Good job on the win Rick! I stayed in the draft or getting pushed for about 20 minutes but set a tire wrong in the esses coming on to the front straight and wacked the wall the other wall and spun like a top. I had a little race with that mosquito that Sandy was driving then got off the track again doing enough damage to slow me to 208. Fun racing with the familiar racers again. Merry Christmas and Happy new year to all. Hope we can do some more vintage racing in 2016.

Yes Scott we will do some more in 2016. The one thing I will task everyone with doing. If you can cool if not no biggie. Get one other driver you know to join us.

Wow, I could not have scripted that any better if I tried. I had tested with Scott and found we could draft pretty good together. We got a little gap from the rest and then let the chips fall where they may. Bob and Sandy both kept me honest as they were right there ready to pass with a mistake or catch my draft, which I had worked hard to keep them at bay. Fuel would have been REAL close so I did a stop and go, which brought Sandy's Matra closer then I wanted, left no room for error, Thanks Ced for putting on a great race, as I do not race except for here I will look forward to the next and break out the wheel and pedals again Good to see Everyone, even though we were missing a few good drivers, The Weasel crew and John N. along with the Capt. and son. Hopefully they can make the next one, I really like the longer day/night/day races, I want to wish ALL the Porrs family a Safe and Happy Holidays and Great New Year!!! Thanks again Ced for your work in this. Cya on track.....R

Thanks Rick and yes I will have to work on the rest of the guys. I think I can generate some more interest in a couple of the other places. I see Cain replied so I will keep him in the loop. I think I may shoot for Feb 26 or Mar 2 for the next race. I agree Rick. The 24 hour sims keep you on your toes. May throw in a couple 12 hours that end at night. Thanks again everyone for coming.
