Drivers Interested In the Bullrun

Hi Guys,

For those that don't know about the Bullrun this is one of the long standing endurance races predating WOSEC and OSEC. I have participated in this event with many different PORRS drivers. PORRS has a good and supportive relationship with The PIts. Past drivers have first dibs at entering drivers and teams.

I would like to know if anyone is interested in doing this prestigious event. It will be run with rFactor and further details will be released but the warning has been issued that entries will start soon for previous drivers.

I ran with Rob last year and would like to enter at least two PORRS teams. It will be based on the new Ausie V8 mod out.

So if anyone is interested please post here asap.

The race will be ran on November 18th, starting at about 12:30 PM EST.

Is there a Bullrun track for rFactor? I can't find it.

They haven't released the track yet, but when they do it's gonna be a fun one ;D

I ran this race in 2003 with Nick Stine we managed to place 12th I believe. Nick took the first stent and about 20 minute into the race he lost 2nd I think it was, so it made it pretty hard to get good times after that, but we just hung on and managed to finish.

They are still tweaking the track.

I've been checking their website on and off, and they're still showing the 2005 version. I suspect race registration and such will occur once they update. There should be two spots open to us, since we ran two cars last year.

Ced, are you gonna handle the registration duties? Let me know if you want me to assist.

Hopefully, they'll get the track out shortly too. I suspect the track will be a bit of a bear with the V8s.

Finally, I looked at the templates (Ford and Holden) and the car at least seems like it can be painted fairly easily. Let me see if I can get some car paint ideas going. I'll plan for two cars unless I hear that we enter 3 instead. I think we should try something that looks somewhat like out GTP Jaguar.
