Qualified P2 and followed Don for the first couple laps until he made a mistake so I went to the lead. Then I made a mistake on the frontstretch (got no damage) and lost 20 seconds so dropped pretty far back as it was still early in the race. Fought back into the top 5 and pitted around the halfway mark. Thats where the trouble started. I got a stop and go for speeding, so I came in to stop but I hit "request pitstop instead so I got a tyre change too (doh)....then exited and got another stop and go then I think I got another one. Had a good seat (2 laps down in P9) to watch the battle between Sandy and Don. Congrats to the top 5!!

I had a remarkably unremarkable race. Spun on the first lap all on my own and went from third to tenth but was able to make that up and spent most of the race in third place.
Brenda had a major issue with the mirrors which is why she was driving off the track again. I really wish we could resolve that issue once and for all.

congrats to alex on the lmp2 win--nice drive! looked like you and terry hooked up and stayed out of trouble on the r/s. i wish i could've called for one after getting bumped into the rear at t1--no damage but immediately down 20 seconds.. had some exciting battles and was back in lmp2 contention until 2 stop-n-gos put me a lap down. that pit exit was f@%*ed up--finally ended up staying on the limiter until merging with the track to clear the penalty incredible rhythm and midcorner bumpfest makes this version of interlagos one of my favorites though--saw some great racing in every sector, especially into the esses and the exciting double apex lefty that follows the back straight. three-wide, someone's going to lose!! my mirrors were also a little askew but didn't result in any contact this time.. maybe at aintree, another slugfest cheers, greg #78 miska lmp2

Race could have been a lot better than my finish but had some great battles none the less. Susan is the first I have to address. You are tough to pass now. And not because you are slow but because you can drive. You gave me fits early while I was trying to pass you. Well done. Larry, I think that Pilbeam is your car...That was fun. Brenda, now I understand if it was mirror issues, just hold your line and we will get around you. But there were sections were you were holding your own. Keep it up The mirror thing is weird. When I was in practice on Thursday night (think it was) I also had the wacked out mirrors and Paul too I think. But race day I was fine....Go figure. James, Dude, I don't know where you are getting that speed out of that Reynard. Good fun. Spectator - Wish I could have been one for this because I'm sure that battle between Don and Sandy was classic all race long.

One other addition. I just want to say again how much of a pleasure it is to see you guys (and ladies) show up each race to compete. I hope it is as enjoyable and fun for you as it is for me (just wish I could mix it up with the leaders rather than waiting for them to lap me...lol). And with half of us doing the double on some sundays, it's even more FUN.
Thanks again for making this the league it is.

This league is the most fun I've had racing since the heyday of GPL. The races are close, the people are great and I really like the mod -- seems like the new cars have leveled the field quite a bit. Of course, thanks to Ced for giving us all a place to play.
The only thing that I might suggest is that it would be nice if more people showed up for online practices leading up to the race. Brenda and I show up most nights around 7 or 8 pm eastern and usually we have the place to ourselves. Hope to see you guys more often.

Another great and fun race. Alex had been close behind me right up til pit stop time and after I made my stop he was way ahead of me! (No tires, the tricky little devil :-))The rest of the race was spent trying to run him back down for 5th. As the laps wore down I was making great inroads into his lead but just couldn't get close enough to put some pressure on him and had to settle for 6th. Good job Alex! Congrats to Sandy and Alex on their wins and to all the podium finishers.
Picking up on Paul's remark about on line practice......I agree with him 100%. It would really be great to have more people for practice sessions. I bowl regularly on Monday and Thrusday but usually get on line around 10 or 10:15PM eastern for a little while. I sub for a couple of teams on Tuesday so sometimes that's a problem but Wednesday is usually good for me. Any morning is fine since I only work 2 days a week and don't go in until noon.....and any afternoon is good except Tuesday and Thursday, when I'm working.
See y'all at Aintree.

Agreed, fun race.
Didn't have a whole lot of pace in the Dome at this track, so I was settled in to try to run a conservative, mistake free run. Qualified P8 or so and was thankful for the race restart since I lost my front cowling before I had even started the SF line!
Got going well in the second start, and immediately found myslef embroiled in a pack of snarling Mazdas! Was fun clean racing for the most part, and I was just trying to maintain pace. I lost a couple seconds here and there through brake lock-ups and missing the apex in the final right-hander before the long front straight. But, I was keeping it generally on the track.
My problems started about mid race with a heavy impact in the tire wall exiting T1. I goosed the throttle a bit too hard (found out later that my throttle pedal was also spiking... Logi MOMO recurring problem), fishtailed the car, and went nose first into the tires, taking off the front cowling in the process. Was very slow running a whole lap without the front downforce, but I made it back to the pits only to endure another delay for the required car repairs. Finally got out and ran pretty much the rest of the race without indicent, ending up where I started I believe in P8.
Will look forward to Aintree with all of yas!

Hi guys
This is one of my best races ever. I qualed 5th or 6th, not sure; just after Terry and in front of Greg and Tom. On start i made one of my best starts ever; was 4th for maybe 5 laps. Terry (and some others) passed me but i managed to follow Terrys line for next 15 laps till pitstop. I stopped first and made a fast pitstop that helped me to recover a 5th overall possition (was 7th before pitstop). After that i managed to take my car in same possition till finish. During race i have a lot of fun passing and beeing passed by some LMP1 cars, and also some fights with Tom and Greg, they were pushing me hard to the limit. Last laps were full of anxiety for me; my car was hard to control (slippery worn tires) and fuel was going out. You wont believe this but i finished with 0.2/0 Liters/laps. Finally Terry was overall 4th and Alex 5th; Team Momo made a 1 2 possitions in LMP2; Terry congrats for your 1st possition in LMP2. Oh well, i have a lot of fun last night. It IS a pleasure for me to compite in such a league like yours Ced; thanks a lot for doing this for our fun.
Thanks guys for your kind words about my driving in this race.
Alex
