being a total noob here, just figured out i dont know how to get to an ip race online.  |

Select Multiplayer
Put the password in on the password line (top left)
Under selection method, where it says IP address: put the IP (Click Add on the right to save the IP)
Click Start at the lower right.
Thats it

the space where you add ip has a number in it. i cant add ip number ,area greyed out.

Charlie are you looking at the line that says TCPInode or the one below it. If the on below that says IP ADDRESS: <enter the number here>

Have you ever been able to race online?
Click on the button that says configure at the bottom.
Make sure the line that Says "Find Network address a different way" is checked.
Click ok and see if you can add now.
