Rouen les Essarts by Virtua_LM is out. It's just as good as their Le Mans, I think better because it's more challenging. Comes with both the old (GPL-style) and new layouts. Absolutely amazing...

Paul, How did you find it on that French forum. I went in circles till I decided I didn't need it.
Have Ver 1.0 but the 1.1 or is it 1.01, impossible for me and I wasn't going to register on another download site which was the other option. Maybe this is the one you used.

I was already registered on that one site. I couldn't read the French one either.
But even if you have to register -- IT IS WORTH IT! Big time.

Its not much fun going to rFactor. Reason: every time I login I get sent to the new stuff page and my login ID is indicated. When I attempt to go to the download page the Registed ID disapears and am asked to login to download.
It is unbelivable. Run around till I decidsed if this happens I don't need it.
How can it recognize my login on one page then not the other.

I got solicited to send RFC a "donation" -- if you can really call it that since my download privileges depended on sending them money -- once and PayPal'ed them five bucks. That was over a year ago and it's been gold ever since. And I certainly get my money's worth from that site all the time.

Larry,
You have an issue with Internet Explorer. I had the same problem with that site. I downloaded FireFox and have had no issues with rFactoreCentral.com with that browser.
Give that a shot.

It works ok but I have to trick it sometimes. I enter into another track or car. Login and get the routine as usual. After getting bounced around there I go to the one I really wanted and then I am good to go.
I just does not like the original entery for some reason and I go thru this most every time.
Thanks Ced I might check that out.
I signed up to Paypal, gave them what I thought they wanted but my checking account. Can't do a thing so it just sits there.
Guess I will not be able to use paypal without their having a bank acount to pick and place with.
Somehow that doesn't seem very safe.

Ment to return here sooner. I must agree, Absolutly Amazing, Paul. Both Rouen and LeMans give the feeling of almost being there in the raw.
Would make some fine wallpapers.
I have driven 100's of laps at Rouen in GPL and it would be a treat to do so again but on this version, both layouts. Still have to say, GPL rules the Sim racing world in mod detail and physics but rFactor rules in graphics. However some GPL tracks such as Jim Persons, Isle of Mann and Dundrod both verisons plus tracks Machwerk, Clermont and others would qualify in the same catagory as these by Virtua, IMO of course.
Virtua web siteis impressive also. A quality organization.
Stunning.
