BMW 320 Race Series

Hey Guys,

Many of you know that I admin a series called "Tuesday Road-Racing Championship Series", aka TRCS, at MNRL. We just concluded Season 2, and I just announced Season 3, a 10-race championship using the BMW 320 E21 mod for rFactor.

Ced has graciously allowed me to make MNRL announcements here at PORRS. I'd like to invite anyone who would like to give the 320s a try to sign up. You'll find a sign-up thread in the TRCS portion of the MNRL forum at www.mnrlonline.com.

As always, please do not sign up for TRCS if it would detract from your ability to compete in PORRS. That said, we have a pretty healthy cross-pollination of drivers who run both at PORRS and MNRL, so you'll probably see some familiar names.

Give me a PM if you want additional info about this series.

I'd be interested, Rob. Can't make all the races due to bowling on some Tuesday nights (like the next 3) but I'd run when I can.

Tom,

You are welcome to sign up as a part-timer. We didn't run at server capacity our first two seasons, and I don't anticipate so for Season 3.

The only thing I would as is that, if you sign up as a part-timer, you yield your seat to someone signed up as a full-timer (if we get to a full grid situation).

How long is practice. I may do like Tom and be a part timer. Maybe I can sneak outta work a couple times. I like the Beamers, I seem to do better with cars where you have to let the Arse hang out.

Ced, I assume you signed up through the RPM system, right? There's also a signup thread on the forum, which I just checked and didn't see your info.

At a minimum, I'll need to know the car number you chose because if you are running a default car because I don't want to have guys running duplicate default cars.

Oh... BTW... qual for R1 is at 9:00 PM Eastern, 6:00 PM your time.
