The ECMA's as they are known were held in Fredericton, New Brunswick Sunday night. The above is a link to "Fashionable People" by the Joel Plaskett Emergency. Plaskett cleaned up, winning 6 awards (out of 7 nominations) including Recording of the Year for the album Ashtray Rock and Single of the Year for "Fashionable People".
Catchy little tune, thought some might like to check it out....funny vid too. Apparently Plaskett has toured with The Tragically Hip throughout Canada and into the Eastern States.
The ECMA's are music awards for our region of Canada...New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland.
