Wow was that a hard race. Scott took off at the start and was pulling away from me until his motor or something like that let go around lap 8 so I took over P1. Had a good 1st pit stop and went back out in P1. Later in the race while going down the front straight adjusting my pit request info for my 2nd pit stop I left my braking to late and drove into the outside wall. Did a flip or two and managed to land on my wheels. Didn't do to much damage so I carried on. Totally screwed up my next pit stop, to far ahead, then to far back, then to far to the left, I said the heck with it and left pit lane without anything being done so I tried it again a couple of laps later and managed to get it right this time. Had to come in for a slash and go with about 10 laps left and just tried to drive clean laps until the finish. Was a tough track to race at but I sure like these type of fast tracks. Good racing everyone DaveS

I have to second just about everything Dave said...lol. I started in the rear on purpose plus give me a better perspective if a restart is needed. After the first few offs by others I found myself in 7th behind LSR Teammate Pat and we were working our way up to 5th and 6th spot until I got on the gas too soon around lap12 in T3 and dropped to 10th. Worked my way up to 5th and that's where the fun began. GP and I couldn't get rid of each other...lol. It all came down to the last pit stop which I copied Dave and did everything he did but I stayed in for service. That lost any chance I had at P4 and I finished 19 seconds behind that darn Toyota. ;D
It was a concentration race to say the least an contrats to Dave on his win and all the finishers.

I tried to get on the server early because I've had no practice in a while, or at this track at all...but unfortunately was having technical difficulties...game locked up...ctrl alt del worked...tried again, locked up in the menu...so I restarted, got it working, got on the server, my wheel wasn't working...quit, got that figured out...got back and there was only 9 minutes of practice left... somehow qualified 5th...first start...not sure what happened in the first turn...I was on the inside, and started braking early...which I probably shouldn't have done, as that seemed to make us end up going into t1 3 wide...and we all went off... restart was fine for me...Cbonsall went off, then Brent went off and I pulled into 3rd, hung there for a few laps til I lost it and got stuck....1 minute tow...got back out...started picking up positions again...then down the front straight exited the last turn too wide into the grass...lost it...crashed, flipped over...engine was still running...so I tried to tow it...after waiting for the 5 minute tow, they tell me it's not fixable and I was out. Hopefully I'll get more practice for the next race, I've had a lot of homework...and been playing rFactor too much. Oh yeah, and Klaus, I know someone that would like to join our WOSEC team, he was on a team that no longer exists now and needs a ride Scott

after first restart i got slammed into in the first turn, think i waitied for all to clear, then just ran staedy laps of 1:14`s . as folks where spinning ,breaking down i managed to end up in 3rd spot. whoever was in second near then end i tryed to run you down, got to within 2 secs and nearly wrecked so i figured 3rd was better than wrecking.

Well first I want to congratulate Dave for a fine win.
I also want to say sorry for a tangle I was in around the 8th lap. Going into the next to last turn the car in front of me disapeared. Could hear both of our cars and thought I was staying clear but all of a sudden we were jostling around after the turn but all seemed ok for both of us. I was involved with someone else who was spinning and slid in front of me and I was down to 10th for awhile.
I am glad for 2nd but we all know that it was attrition of those who had trouble. I was pulling my fastest laps at the end, in the mid 12's and felt comfortable and pretty consistant and for me that is not genarally the case. This was my best finish at an online race so I had another piece of pie when it was over.
Thanks to all for a fun run and look forward to our next trip.
Klaus, that was a great track choice and you should be given a big round of applause.

Sorry to CB for the hit in T1...I checked the replay and from my end we were separated quite a bit but I guess a little warp came into play. Glad to see you got a good finish out of the race. Ran P2 for a big part of the race after a few dropped out but then weird things happened to my wheel, maybe the frickin cat had its tail on the keyboard or something cause I had absolutely no reaction from wheel or pedals so I barreled straight off the track in 5th gear. Got a four minute tow so that set me back quite abit to P6. Nice track to run for sure.

My race? A tale of what could've been and should've been!
Made a big mistake on my qual lap and settled for 6th starting spot. OK... np...
First start... got plowed under braking into T1. NP since we restarted anyway.
Second start... got plowed under braking into T1... by the same car. Was sorta miffed about that... really was no excuse for not being more careful in T1 (end of soapbox). Got the car going again and finished the first lap somewhere around 10th place. Started trying to run hard to make up time. Self spun once, then missed my braking point into T1 and got stuck on the fence... 5 minute tow... ugh.
The 5 minute break was the best thing that coulda happened to me, since I calmed down and decided just to run to finish. After the tow, I went back out and started clicking off good laps... many in the 11s even with a bent up rear wing. Second pit stop was nominal.
Got the bit in my teeth a bit the last stint and dopped my lap times. Brent had his trouble, and we ended up on the same lap, so I was trying to get close enough to get him if he ran into last lap trouble. Ended up running a 10.8 on my 44th lap or so... even with the bent wing and the rear body panel missing!! LOL.
Ended up 7th, primarily due to people crashing out or breaking. I'll take the Top 10 finish, but I was hoping for a bit more. Did make up 2 laps on the field. Finished 3 laps off the lead after being 5 laps down after the tow-in. Oh, well... off to the next race.

Rob, looks like I'm the one that bumped you. I am very sorry . The brakes just do not seem to slow down as fast as everyone else. Please forgive me. burmcat

Tis forgiven... ;D LOL! Yeah, I was steamed a bit, but my race was really tanked by my self spin about L10, which got me stuck in the fence, resulting in the 5 minute tow. It's surprising that you didn't have more braking power though, being that you were in a Toyota and me in a Jag. The Toyotas, from what I understand, brake much better. Plus, I was taking it VERY easy into T1, knowing that it would back up and run MUCH slower on L1 than when we got spread out a bit. I know I brake much earlier into T1 on L1 than during any other lap of the race. We'll get it right next time, I'm sure! ;D

Hey Nick,
When was the last time you calibrated your pedals. I had that problem one time before and now I calibrate every other race.
