Yet another flawless race by Brent. I made one mistake -- when I got on the curbs a little too much and nosed into the wall. That damage slowed me by about .5 to 1.0 seconds a lap for the first half of the race. Still managed to stay close but the repairs left me 11 seconds down leaving the pits. Drove like a madman the rest of the way, since I had nothing to lose and managed to make up 9 seconds of that margin but Brent won by just over 2 seconds. That's the fourth straight race between us that has been decided by one or two seconds.
Excellent job driving by everyone. Congrats to Greg on his fine finish. Waiting now to see where to send the transporter for the following race.

Congrats to Brent, Paul and Greg on their podium finishes.....another great race between Brent and Paul. The first part of my race was a battle royal with Greg swapping positions until he began putting a little distance on me. Then he apparently had a miscue and I was ahead of him in 3rd, much to my surprise. He ran me down and we were at it again when we came upon Susan at T-1. I ran into her left rear quarter but she managed to save it and keep on going. With that Greg split us and he was on his way again. Susan, (I hope you read this) you did nothing wrong and drove just exactly as you should have. It was entirely my fault......and the save you made was excellent. I'm sorry for the contact. Later on Oldnslo ran me down and we had a good dice for a couple of laps but I went in too hard on one corner and he got passed me. Being a good former neighbor he returned the favor by spinning off the corner a turn or two later. After that it was just a matter of not doing anything (else) stupid and bringing the car home 4th. Now, echoing Paul.....where's our next race? Bob had mentioned Rouen and our TPTCC race there was sure a lot of fun...however, it doesn't matter to me as long as I don't miss my turn.

Well, that was a great race for me after a botched start. Then I had to make an early pit stop and then discovered that I didn't take on enough fuel. I was going to be about two laps short. I loved the track and should have done so much better but the nut behind the wheel kept making stupid mistakes. After working my butt off to catch Forddude I blew it after passing him. I hope I made a clean pass on anyone I raced. Susan, if I bumped you on that last turn I'm sorry. I didn't feel anything but you fell behind quickly so I was wondering if I had run you off the track. As usual our racers are the most sportsmanlike I've ever raced against. BTW, Gred04 or whoever you are ( I wish we'd use our names ) we had a real nail biter. But it was clean and intense. I've fired all my pit crew and hopefully I'll get proper pit service in my next race.

Another great finish with Paul! Another lap and the story may have ended differently. Paul was certainly better thru the longer runs. My car got a little twitchy deep into a run and I couldnt push very hard. So I made sure thru the tricky sections even though I lost some time. Great race...traffic was not a problem. Looked like some nice battles thru the field.

Was having a surprisingly good race, and just managed to get a qualifying lap in (the wife had me setting up the new PS3, kind of my responsibility since I bought Gran Turismo 5 as well as GTA 4). Managed 7th on the grid, and I seem to be getting consistent good starts and jumped to 6th off the line, and I must have been chasing Bob in a pilbeam, seemed to go on for a long time back and forth all the way to my first stop. I was back on the track in 8th place and then I think it may have been fordude in 7th I was chasing and passed down to the hairpin and out braked for the inside line. I eventually caught up with Bob again 6th and I guess his tires were getting old as he went wide at the hairpin letting me through, someone must have had problems ahead of me as I was suddenly 5th, and then I had problems of my own as I had to make another stop for gas as I miscalculated how much I needed for the race and was about 4-6 gallons short of what I needed and dropped to 8th but somehow gained 7th at the flag . It was good racing all round, Bob and Forddude gave some great battles, somehow the car went quicker on the second set of tires pulling 1.16's from somewhere. Hopefully the next track will hold better fortune for me.
