It appears that the Dome's seem to have an issue with the mirrors in the cockpit view.
1) Does anyone driving a Dome (S101) have mirrors in the cockpit view?
2) Does anyone driving the Dome (LMP2) have mirrors in the cockpit.
3) Are there any other cars that don't have mirrors?
We need the mirrors to work because a couple incidents may have been avoided if drivers had them.
Chime in.

Dome LMP1
I had mirror problems at Road America. However, they seemed to fix themselves at Mosport. I was able to use the mirrors from cockpit view with no problems.

I have not had mirrors in cockpit so use the virtual mirror. The right outside mirror has very little, well, you could say none visable. That is the only mirror without virtual available for my Dome LMP2

I had asked Larry to send me a screen shot since he said he had no mirrors. Well upon further review. He does have mirrors. The problem is his FOV is so far off you are staring at the mountains in the view.
I know I knew it before but I'm calling on you guys for right now. If no answer by Friday I'll find it.
Does anyone remember off hand how to change the FOV? Don't remember if it was a quick key command or edit the .plr file.
Thanks a bunch
Ced

i'm able to get the side mirrors to show at extreme fov angles. unfortunately, the rest of the car is askew and is then basically undriveable. per clownmans suggestion i remapped a wheel button to show 'lookback' view--not ideal, but helped out a lot when exiting the pits. we should figure out a way to get that center 'virtual' mirror to show up in cockpit. regards, greg #78 miska

Greg,
I have my PLR file, in the Graphics section, set to the following:
[ Graphic Options ] Broadcast Overlay="1" Texture Detail="2" Vertical FOV Angle="86" // 34=use default, otherwise is the FOV for attached cameras (horiz is calculated based on aspect ratio) Rearview="2" // 0=Off, 1=Center and Side, 2=Center only, 3=Side only (virtual mirrors only, in-car mirrors are on/off)
Note the REARVIEW line. I have mine set to 2 or center only. Well, if go onto a track and in my car, hit the number 3 keyboard key, I can switch from Center to Center and sides, sides only or none which aliminates all mirror visability.
You probaly have knowledge of this already and are having other problems. Please disregard. Wish I could offer other help.
Ced,
I am revising my FOV to 86 which does permit the right side mirror visability, albeit very minimum at best. I still feel the need for the Center Virtual mirror. As Greg mentioned, this distorts the cockpit considerably for the driver.
All this has to be revised, for my personal preference, in the Panoz Ironman car however. Those cars are hard to see out clearly no matter what I do. Mirrors might be ok but total view is another matter and and subject, sorry for bringing up here. You all have been there and done that from last season, thus have all that behind you already.
Larry

Just to cover all the bases, are people moving the SEAT back to get more usable mirrors?

Bob, That's it,
That is what I was looking for. Do you remember what the command is for that?
I'll work on it some tonight if I can, if not tomorrow after my TPTCC practice

Well I remapped mine but the default keys are listed in the controls section in-game...can't be THAT simple...can it? Personally I have virtual mirrors on all the time with every mod I race on-line, and even then cars get "lost".

Yeah, I run them as well. It's handy to look up when the sides don't show everything

To move the seat forward and back you can program keys for it and adjust it while you are in the cockpit.
