Thought I had already started a thread for this but don't see it anywhere so here goes again.
Jim and I need someone to paint SRF's for us if they have time. Nothing extravagant....he's partial to metallic blue or metallic red and I've got several combinations someone can choose from....burgundy and gold.....a combo of a couple of lighter shades of green or something in orange/yellow/white. Of course Ford logos on the front, rear and sides is required....of course. ;D
Any volunteers?
Thanks,
Tom

I might be able to create a base scheme for you guys. I'll need somebody to convert the files to dds for me.
I use PSP8 and have never been able to figure out the alpha layer stuff. Paints always come out too shiny. And yes I've tried the photoshop dds plug-ins but can't get them to work.
Anyway, would someone be willing to convert some paints for me/us?
Thanks!

Sandy,
Does the DDS converter convert PSP. If you save it as a JPG it can convert it.

Sandy, thanks for offering to do that for us. It is really appreciated. One of these days I need to learn how to use PSP (I've got PSP 7 if that would be any good) but I just can't seem to find the time to learn it. I used to use NeoPaint in the N2K3 days and even for a while in rF but then I guess things got too complicated for NeoPaint so I'm out of luck....and I really enjoyed painting up my own cars.

Tom -- I finally got PS installed. Anything by Adobe takes forever -- sorry.
Post the files somewhere and I will convert them to DDS for you.

Paul, I've uploaded the following three files to the "rfactor_driver_car_files" folder:
SRF13_Jim_Nasella.zip SRF288_Tom_Nasella.zip SRF914_Sandy_Robinson.zip
The files are in psp format. If you can convert and load these to the same folder that would be terrific.
Thanks!

It's uploaded now. It would have been there sooner but Comcast has decided to do their maintenance in the middle of the day and for the last three weekdays, we've lost our internet from about 1 p.m to about now.

Right. I got them from the file storage area and converted them to DDS and posted them to the same folder. The file is Tom's Cars.zip.

Thanks Tom, glad you like them. Paul, thanks so much for your help too. The cars look so much better than they did when I tried to convert them. I owe you one. SandyR
