PORRS Summer Season

On the server last night, I hit a wall and lost the rear section of the spec ford. After pitting to have it replaced, the new section had multiple squares all over. They were flashing in a radom pattern. Anyone have an idea as to what caused this to happen.
Also during the first few laps the engine was cutting out in multiple places around Lime Rock. Suggestions anyone?

Well I can speculate on the damaged piece and say that they may not have made all the damage detail levels and that's why it looked like that. If you have a replay or screenshot I'd like to see it.

Haven't heard about the engine deal before.
