 What is a DTS file and were do they go? Also what do they do?

Hi Tony,
If I read it correctly, the DTS files are similar to the Papy MIPS. I am assuming they are graphics files. I think there was a tool out there to convert BMP or JPG to DTS but don't remember where I saw the post
