First, sorry to leave so abruptly after the race. I lost my cursor (it happens a lot for some reason) and I can't do anything after that. Have to alt/tab rF and then close it with the 3 finger salute.
Anyway, it was fun again. Both races Jim, Charlie and I hammered on each other for just about the whole time. We usually had others in the mix but due to our shenanigans we generally ended up a trio. It sure was fun!

Well I have to say these have to be two of my best consistent PORRS finishes. Only downer about it is loosing a podium spot in both races with under 5 minutes to go. But race two was an intense blast from start to finish battling with Sandy and Lead (An area I'm not usually in...lol)

From where I'm sittin (the back of the field) it seems this was some of the most interesting racing of the summer. There was stuff happening everywhere.
Tom, Charlie and I were at it and at one point in race 2 Nick and I had a good go ...
Good stuff

talk about a 180 from the week before (at an unnamed track)--this race was loads of fun. as terry said, the battles for position were tire-smoking close but clean. awesome lap after lap battle with gary in both races! this was one strange little roadcourse but it made for some great racing.

In race 1 I spun on lap 2 putting me back to around 7 or 8th spot. Had some great battles with people while I attempted to work my way back up to the lead pack. Got up to 4th behind Brent and was having another great battle with him until he disco'd. Sandy was up in 2nd and he must of spun or something because I was now in P2 behind Pat. Pat crossed the finish line about a second ahead of me when time expired.
In race 2 I made the mistake of adjusting the rear roll bar and boy did it slow me down. Sandy was hounding me for a long time for P1 until he spun and then Pat was after me for the lead. I was about a half a second slower in this race than the first but managed to hold onto the lead until the end of the race.

Oh yeah, and it really bites to have your luck rubbed in your face. ;D With the battle I was having with Sandy and Lead and to loose 3rd late in the run. I was chasing Sandy like nobody's business. He spins at the 2nd turn after you exit the oval...I'm thinking...Yes...I can get back on the podium....Buuuuttttt Noooooo, Sandy does a perfect 360 and keeps on going and I'm still in 4th...ROFL.

Computer froze late in practice and by the time I got back I only had time for one hot lap in Q1...only managed P10 but got a good start and worked my way up to P2 with Dave hounding me. Then another freeze....which sucks. Race 2 the freakin thing froze on the start line, so much for my race. Might have been the weather in my area as we had some bad stuff earlier in the day and I think it was still in the area. Looking forward to Birmingham club...should be a heck of night with laps under 38-39 seconds.
