Well another fun little (boy little) track. Non-stop action, non-stop traffic, non-stop battles. You could not blink at this track or you were in trouble. Had some great battles with Susan and Nick in race one and then Jim and Pat in race two. After deciding to drive a little more conservatively in race two, that reduced my off track excursions and got a decent finish. Rather than trying to race Pat hard at the end, I let him by so I could salvage a good spot. Coming into the last lap in the downhill there were parts flying all over the place and I couldn't tell who got the worst of it. I'll check the replay tonight, should be good.

That sure was a fun track to race at but if you missed your mark at a couple of corners they could bite you big time as I found out in race 2. In race 1 I had a good battle with Tom, Pat and Sandy at one point or another in the race. In race 2 Sandy got the jump on me at the start and beat me into turn 2. I hounded him for a couple of laps and then managed to out brake him in the same turn for the lead. I was very lucky to miss a couple of good wrecks in the downhill section in both races but I left behind some wreckage of my own there on the last lap in race 2. Every lap I'd tell myself not to look at the stack of tires and on each lap I didn't until the final lap, I looked at the tires and hit the set on the left dead center. Luckily it only took of the front body work and I was able to limp to the finish line. I didn't expect to win both races and sure wished Brent was around to battle with. Hope you get your connection problems figured out soon Brent. The great thing about spec racing is there aren't all that many settings you can change and in all the races I've run so far all I've really changed is the front and rear roll bars and the brake bias. I've used the same basic setup at all the races so far changing only the fuel load. If anyone would like a copy of my setup just hauler and I'll send it out during the practice session before each race. Thanks for the fun race gang DaveS ;D
