Hi All,
I know I've sorta lost touch with many of you since I gradually became unable to run Sunday nights with PORRS. I regret that I had to discontinue racing Sunday nights with you all, but my toddler expexts "Daddy Time" before he goes to bed Sunday nights. I miss you guys!
That said, I'm still racing and running a series. MNRL's Tuesday Night Roadracing Series (TRCS) is moving forward with its fourth season in a couple weeks. This season, we will be running a two-car format using a custom rFm. The cars will be the current version of the McLaren F1 GTR car and the forthcoming Lotus Espirit GT car. The cars are very equal in performance and should make for some great racing.
TRCS is an open setup series with no aides except auto clutch. We've maintained this format to ensure that guys who like open setup will have a place to run at MNRL, as all other MNRL road-racing is fixed setup at this time.
If this series sounds interesting to any of you, I cordially invite you to check out the TRCS information at the MNRL website (www.mnrlonline.com). Several PORRS guys have run in TRCS in the past, and I would personally welcome any of you to give TRCS a shot. Season 4 looks like it will be very exciting.
Of course, if your time is limited and you would have trouble running two open setup leagues in a week, please do not leave PORRS for TRCS. Ced deserves much loyalty for providing the quality PORRS racing he has provided over the past years. Ced graciously allows me to cross-advertise MNRL here, and I don't want to have PORRS lose drivers if some of you want to try TRCS.
If there are any questions about TRCS, please feel free to PM me here or respond to this thread. I look forward to talking about TRCS with you!
