Apologies to Gary for screwing up his race tonight. After a lot of practice and invaluable help from Dave, thanks man, I managed to ruin what should have been a very good race. Running a comfortable 3rd early on I got onto the grass with Gary and Sandy not too far behind me. Unfortunately, the curbing sent me askew when I tried to get back on the pavement. Gary had nowhere to go and hit me in the rear. His luck didn't get any better when my carom off the wall shot me into him. Sorry Gary. Congratulations to the winner.....Dave (?) Paul (?) Sandy(?) I suspect it was one of you guys but I wasn't around long enough to find out Tom

Hi Tom
I saw your accident with Gary. Bad luck my friend, you spun really hard against that wall and i nearly hit you but managed to move my wheel in the last milisecond. In my case i lost my 4th pos during second part of the race. My new rig has still some graphic issues. It freezes for about 8 secs and when it returns working all the images were weird and couldnt distinguish easily the road limits. Any help for setting up my vid card will be very much appreciated.

Yeah that was a tough race, Ford dude had me pegged for third, I could gain my ground I lost on little slip ups and was able to keep up but I couldn't stick close through the corners, then I saw that he lost it a little through the third corner, and I went to the right, and got caught in Ford dude's tail, and I got collected by the rebound (no worries Ford dude wasn't anything you could have done). After a stop in the pits for repairs to some front suspension damage, I hauled butt from 8th to eventually fourth, I couldn't quite figure out how since I made a splash and dash 3/4 of the way through the race. Now I just need to find a good body shop for some straightening out.

I did about as well as I could have hoped, not making any mistakes and running consistent laps. Turned out the margin of Sandy's victory was exactly the amount of time he spent less in the pits than me by not changing tires. Very clever, Sandy, and congrats!

Well it started out as a great race, I lead it up until my pit stop and then things went into the toilet so to speak. I think the pit crew I just hired was the crew that Red Weasel Racing had fired a couple of weeks earlier cause they were in slow motion taking almost a minute to fuel and change 4 tires. Because of this poor performance I came out 3rd, after that I just couldn't make up time because of traffic and a couple of screw ups on my part.
Great pit strategy Sandy, congrat's on the win and hat's off to Paul for his 2nd place.

Well I'd love to take credit for that strategy, but to be honest is was a desperation move. I knew the only way to catch up to Dave and Paul was to not take tires, but had no idea I'd gain so much time. Just got lucky, but I'll take it! Great drives Paul and Dave. If it wasn't for your longer pit stops you guys would have beaten me.

It was an interesting race and if you got in the flow, a nice track to drive. That is if you got into the flow. I found myself on the other side of the fence wondering how I would get back and even if I would finish the race. I found a spot, waited for no traffic and did my best KITT from knightrider performance and flew over the fence and back on the track. Luckily I was able to make it back to the pits and get repairs.
