Ok Guys Start getting that blood pumping.
Tentative start dates are either Jan 22 or 29th. Currently putting together a track list that should be interesting. 8 Race first season.
We ran the North American Tracks the first half and the Euro's the second. We are going to add a good mix this time and hopefully another PORRS track. Fontana is in the works. Possibly run the newer version of Leman, Spa, Nurburgring and Silverstone, maybe throw in Bathurst for good measure. And I think we are mature enough to run Mexico. Just some of the tracks on the plate.
Stay Tuned
Ced

Hi Jan,
Everyone is welcome and we have a server to handle it. Check out the Drivers List from the main site and pick an unused number if you haven't signed up already.
The signups are on the main site as well.
Ced
I'll be sending a welcome email out to all the new drivers later this week.

Ced,
Just to confirm, I will return but will be running a Sauber with "official" sponsorship from ChampCarFanatics.com. Same number as last season - #35. Will upload car as soon as is appropriate.
Looking forward to kicking off again, although we'll have to loose out a little bit on the CARS racing... oh, well. GTP is my first love. LOL!
Talk to ya! Rob

Naturally I have a stupid question. Ced, will we be driving the two series again GTP1 and GTP2 for Toyota and Mazda.
Reason I ask is, if not, I would like to drive my 01 Sauber is all. I liked the Toyota last season but in my hands they will not compete with the Sauber or Jag. I know that some of you can compete in a Cambell soup can but not me.
Thanks,
Larry

That will be fine sir woohoo! Thank you! Great news! I've uploaded file PORRS_03_Jaguar.gtp.car and same time downloaded Season 2 PORRS carset... some cool cars! ;D Regarding tracks for the upcoming season, do you "need" suggestions? You know, like Schottenring... Solitude... (tongue in cheek) And a little presentation: Name: Jan Kyster Age: 49 Nationality: Denmark Experience: 3 years online racing. "Grew up" with Crammonds GP-series from 1994 (?) until 2002, when GPL and the online-community was found. Last year I stumbled over some pic's from the GTP-mod, found a Nascar-cd and wham! my first ever real kick in simracing! Love at first sight. When that V12 kickstarts... I'm lost... Latest news is a fortnight ago when I got my second real kick, as GPL69 was released... wow! The future certainly looks bright! Credentials: DGPLS, AtlasF1, OEGL, NGPLS (all with Ferrari 312). Currently driving in NGPLS (Ferrari 312) and P.O.R.R.S. (Jaguar). Car of Choice: Silk Cut Jaguar XJR12 #3. Winner of Le Mans 1990 driven by fellow countryman John Nielsen... Favorite Driver(s): Jochen Rindt, Alain Prost, Michael Schumacher... Looking forward to race with you! Jan.

Hi Loren,
Long time. Sure we got room for ya.
Jan, looks like you have the experience driving, especially with GPL background.
January 29th looks to be the start of the season and we will have a warmup run on the 22nd. Just a few short races to reaquaint ourselves..
As far as the GTP1 and GTP2 series. If there are enough people that respond to the email I will send out tomorrow, we can have the two classes. I'll give everyone the option for a car in either class if it doesn't work out.
I should be done with the season review this weekend I hope. I have all the footage cut and now need to add the commentary.
I'll have it available to stream in segments, that way you can watch one race recap at a time or if you want me to mail you a higher res CD I can.

I am excited about this and am being pulled between the Toyota and the Sauber. I felt the Toyota gave me fine results last season but I know the Sauber has the potiental of better overall season results due to the response of the cars to various track, (and my driving ability). Am I correct here about the differences of cars to tracks? It seems so with me anyway.
I know I was blown away by Jags and Saubers, especially here at Oster last year.
Anyways, I look forward to getting back whichever way we go.
At MNRL league, GTP1 series, the drivers that are handicapped to Toyota's are showing the Jags and Saubers a thing or more. So driveing ability makes all the difference and I know where I stand. Way off in the corner.
