Well I was one of them that asked for Mech. failure to be set for this season and looks like I paid for it I was running good and steady up in P2 and POW[/color] the motor blowed up on me, I had the boost set to 2 and the engine brake at 2 and wasn't over reving it much at all, just my lucky day I guess Oh well, that's race'n eh! Congrat's to the podioum and cya all at not sure were we're going to be racing next, are we going to run HFS? DaveS ;D

The Lola had the handling but the Spyders had the power and that effectively made the entire track a no-passing zone for me tonight. Terry and I were just about identical the whole night long.
BTW, even though medium tires wouldn't even finish a fuel run without going red, the hards made it the whole race with no apparent loss of grip, so I guess we still have some more figuring to do on that subject.
Sorry about your failure, Dave. I think we might be running AF-RF1 next time but that's not official.

Well after some major overhauling of the handling package for the Peugeot I decided to give the old girl a shot at this one. Knowing I wouldn't be fast but needed to get a race in under her belt to see where it stood in race trim. Probably a top 10 car at best but I soldered on. Made it two thirds of the race until I lost my controller....AGAIN....Luckily it planted me on the right side of the track and veered off into pit lane and the first tower. Uuggggg

I was surprised that my car was good enough to make 2nd on the grid, and I knew the start was going to be important with Terry right behind me.
I got what I wanted, a blistering start, dave found a spot where he could power past for the first corner a few laps later, and he was slowly pulling away until a few laps later he was over on the inside with what looked like steam coming from the rear of the car, which was later confirmed as an engine blow out.
I was a little bit worried when I was catching a gaggle of cars that were all fighting for 7th, I just took my time and waited for a good spot to pass.
Only event that happened to me was losing the car a little and skimming a barrier, and my left front heading into the yellow, sandy was on another level with his spyder setup, congrats on a dominating win.

It was great to finally get to race again. Even though I had very little practice I felt like I wouldn't embarrass myself...........wrong......... I didn't realize how rusty I was. I have to apologize to so many people. First off, for some reason the car ahead of me just sat there on the drop of the flag. I tried to go around him when he suddenly accelerated and I clipped him. That was a dumb move on my part because it caused a riot behind me. I got damage and was lucky to make it back to the pits. Hopefully the following cars weren't damaged as well. Then in my haste to get by Nick I pulled an Earnhardt Jr. and spun him out. Sorry Nick, especially since you have improved so much. Then trying to be a nice guy I completely fouled up Jim Nasella when I slowed to let him pass. But I chose the wrong place and it just caused him grief. And please, Susan , tell me I didn't send you spinning when I passed you.
I don't know when I'll be racing again but when I do I think I'll start in the back ( not that I wouldn't anyway :-) and learn how to race all over again. My teammates did well so I salute them. Rolling starts are looking better every day.

First of all thanks to all of you for waiting me just before race start. Problems in my PC screwed all my controller settings and i have to reset them almost all. The same problems sent me to reset my controller during Qual. I did only one qual lap, enough for making a 6th pos. The track was great but i did some mistakes that sent me to 9th position. I have some fun laps tryng to pass Greg, but it was impossible and it costs me 2 additional out of track; my fault and i hope it was me alone; if not, my apologys if any envolved in my out of track After that i forgot to cancel repair of minor damages and my pitstops was an endless 55 seconds. Finally i ended in 9th position in a great fun track.
Thanks to all of you and specially to Ced for making it possible for all of us.
Congrats for all the podium guys and of course to Terry, our Momo team mate.

I really want to get into one of these races...but my group decides to meet on Sundays... so I'm finding it hard to get into a race. Have to wait two more races before maybe I get a shot to race on a Sunday and that's if I'm lucky. Once the summer comes... but until then
