Hi guys
d**n internet provider. I lost internet connection just after pitting when was in 8th position or so. Hope you all have a wonderfull race.
Hey Bob you were doing great after several weeks out of simracing. Sorry i hit you when starting but seems there was no damage for you. Nothing to say about Terry. I think he was overall 4 th when i went out. Forza team Momo.
By the way what happends during start? All i know is that i jumped a bunch of positions without doing anything.
See you all next race.

Mine was the triumph of the tortoise. I was the fourth fastest car behind Greg, Brent and Ced in the magic Peugeot oil-burner. I knew this was a track that could bite you with no warning so I went very conservative in the setup and just tried to keep my nose clean. I was fortunate but others were not.
One of these days, Greg is break this terrible string of bad luck and when he does, there'll be no stopping him.

Well my race position was great for a battle in P2, unfortunately it didn't turn out that way.
I was 6th on the grid with James right next to me, I thought had a good start and was next to James still for the beginning of the esses, for some reason Brent was re-enacting the Philidelphia experiment and flashing on and off in front of me, so I let off the gas a little as I didn't want to hit him if he re-appeared on the nose of my car, this gave James a little bit of a lead into the first turn, but unknown to me, Scott was trying to make a pass on the inside (didn't a couple of comments prior to the race mention trying to make passes through the esses, and how it's not beneficial to anyone?), so I go from 7th to 10th after getting spun and collected by an innocent bystander (Could have been Greg or Paul, I'm not sure).
I make my way through the field again up to about 5th I think, before my tires start prematurely going bad, and the suspension damage isn't helping...nor was the loss of the top end in 5th and 6th gear, then I repeat the process again and I'm up to 5th, but again the tires are going off so I pit one last time and eventually take 7th, (I think that was 4th for P2?).
Could have been worse I guess, going to have my work cut out for the next few races.

One more thing -- After I rebooted, I had no more problems with freezes, and the only difference between the sessions was that I didn't use Game Booster the second time. Since the errors were constant before and non-existent afterward, I have to believe the program was the cause.
So if you're thinking of trying this program, make sure you do so in practice to see if it give you grief as well.

By the way i also have a 10 secs freeze some laps before loosing my internet connection.
It is not the first time i have them. Not sure but seems it happends also during off line practices. After each of this freezes my graphics went weird and i could hardly distinguish the track and surroundings. No Game Booster installed here. Antivirus software turned off before race.
Any clue will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

During my research of this problem on the net, seems like a lot of people are saying that 180-seres drivers are causing problems with NVidia cards. That one doesn't apply to me because I have the special beta Win7 drivers.

Red Weasel Racing Reports
Race Line: Riverside
What a great white knuckle event, the Red Weasel Racing Porsche Spyders were ready for any action for this even, with early practice with Team MOMO driver Bob Robinson we worked on a fast and stable setup that would allow us to race near the front.
When the Qualifying was over it appeared a few teams decided to experiment with some sort of new racing fuel, and that wild Squirrel driving the series only tin top shocked the crowd with his blazing speed, which goes to prove the point “Never get between a Squirrel and his nuts.” I never understood that but I always remember it.
As the starting grid was formed I knew this was going to be a memorable race, and as we took off I was correct, Ced’s Punuts I mean Peugeot was just a tad slow on the start so I went right to pass but he quickly gained speed and started to open a little gap, a gap large enough for a ray of sun light to break through the cars and a mystery tank slap that sent me wide right as I entered the dogleg of the front. I look in my mirror and so what appeared to be a horrific wreck on the starting grid.
Running an early P5 I gained a spot when Terry made a minor mistake and gained the spot then was able to open the gap a tad, but would it be enough to hold back the awesome power of the Vreelandanator. With an opening gap a few cars pulling out of pit would come into play as GP brought his car onto track and the Head Weasel being a bit anxious as we entered the sharp right hander just before the Drag Strip I let my right foot drop a tad to heavy in anticipation of getting in front of Greg and looped The Weasel Rocket off track and into the grass, cursing to myself as I watched the blur of Terry’s Car zipping past me as I calmly edged my way back onto the black, faster, less slippery part of the race way and tried my best to catch him.
As the 30 minute warning posted it was time to start the mid race pit stops pits stops I signaled my intention to Pit and Terry’s intention flash as well and I missed the pit road as I blew past it heading for the finial turn, and I figured to make the best of it and ran a hot lap for a pit in lap, but all was lost as I came around and pitted, I had forgotten of the first lap tank slap and did not tell the Pit Crew to ignore the body damage so like the busy little Weasels they are the jumped the wall with various body panels and large sheets of tape and bailing wire to re-hang some deformed left side carbon fiber. Leaving the pits after a became a really long pit, I almost got out of the car to go buy some ice cream from the Pit Road vender. The crew finished masking and repainting the car and I think I saw someone clean the wheels, you know all that brake dust makes for lousy photos, the crew signaled me to leave and I was eager to make up for their time.
Back on track I returned to my rhythm and settled into some consistent laps seeing I was closing the gap between Terry’s Porsche and my own by close to 2 seconds a lap, I did the quick calculation and saw I need about 25 more laps or Heaven preserve us Terry to make another mistake. I heard over the Team radio that he was coming up on the Weasel Wench and I asked that she engage the Weasel Extra Wide option (similar to the KERS technology but it only makes the cars wider) But to no avail he wouldn’t be prey for such an obvious attempt to slow him down .
So as the last few minutes passed the best the Weasels could manage was the typical example of team cars crossing the Start Finish line together for yet another incredible photo opportunity.
Great Racing, see you next time.

Got off to a bit of a ruff start as I did some lawn mowing but settled into a pretty good groove. Then not so much....I knicked the barrier on the inside of turn 1 and shot across the track almost head on into the pit exit wall. My rustiness is still showing after missing a few months of racing for sure. I think this track should be on the schedule at least once a year. It is a blast. COngrats to the podium.

Good One James.... Oh Well, the one that got away. I had to represent the home turf as Pat and I spent many G.P.s at Riverside along the back straight in the back of my pickup so Riverside is my favorite track. Now the speed I had was a shock to me as well, and just so everyone knows. The Pug has the Pescarolo Physics in it, I decided on that after running the Pes at Reims and I was quick in that so I figured it was to my liking. Great battle with Greg, I decided to be patient and just stay on his butt to see if he would make a mistake.....Nope....He was rock solid. So a few laps before the incident, I started pressuring him a little more and we had some great nose to tail racing. Then after the incident, I decided to set my own pace and see how the tires were holding up getting ready to plan for a pit stop, then as that saying in Talladega Nights with the Kids are Talking to Resse Bobby and they say: "Some one didn't Love you when you were little did they", coming on to the back straight my usb port decided to drop my controller and I went up the hill. It has been doing this off an on for a month so I had a extension sitting right in front of my wheel that I quickly disconnected and reconnected and luckily I was able to stop the car, but not before the damage was done.....Uggggg. So lets say after that I was driving an INSPIRED race. ;D

It appears in the the replay that I left you room to avoid contact. Maybe a little more patience from both of us would have avoided the contact, the race cannot be won on the first corner. Note: it was not in the "esses", it was the first turn. Apologies to everyone the contact affected.

snakebit part II great qual--one hotlap and the fronts were shot, but good enough for p1 and a p/b lap. think brent got the jump at the start when i had a little tank slapper off the line--he was warping bad and i'm not sure who entered the esses first.. after ced charged up to 2nd in that hotrod oil burner, raced me hard for position for almost 10 laps, we closed on 'burmcat' entering the big curve almost side by side. saw nick smoke the tires under braking out of the final turn, get a wheel in the grass then swing across into the left hand wall. with ced right behind me, i entered the front straight right at the moment said wall spit him out toward track center--wham! should've been a race ender with the rf suspension hammered and the aero tweaked but got back to within 1.5 secs of my previous racelaps by throwing caution to the wind and upping the boost to 5. after pitting fuel only, 'momo' terry was right on me and made it very difficult for me to hold onto a distant 2nd. one hiccup and he would've been by me. definitely kept me honest! congrats to paul and terry on class wins, third time's the charm
