As you know the Head Weasel wasn’t on track tonight, commitments to further some of the work located at the Super Ultra Secret Underground Red Weasel Racing Team Research and Development Center and Café Emporium.
But the Weasel Wrench was on track and is working hard to whittle away the points that separate her position from mine in Class Championship.
See you all next time.

Considering I started in 6th I'm happy with my result, I knew that unless Sandy or Terry had a coming together I wasn't going to get anywhere near them, in fact the only time I did was in the pits. Had a sensible launch off the line, and was following Brent and Paul fighting for 4th, then from what I briefly saw of the replay Greg was hit with a lag attack, and went from 3rd down to 7th? I was trying to get into a rhythm, for some reason I was literally having the shakes like I was nervous for some reason (after about 50 something races I should be comfortable by now), eventually I was able to start pushing the car a little more and keep up with Brent and Greg still fighting over 3rd, I noticed that Leadsled was now getting closer after getting around Scott, a few laps later I made a mistake and Leadsled got by, then Leadsled had a mishap and I barely missed him by a whisker (car wasn't showing any damage so I must have missed by an inch or less). Later on I was back on the tail of the Brent and Paul battle, Paul got a little off balance through the second gear left hander and Brent got through, then I was right under Paul to make a move on the straight (I did let off a little in the bend as I wasn't sure if you saw me on the inside), and then I was chasing Brent again for 3rd. Don't remember how I got passed, I think Brent had a slight off in the first right hander and I shot through inside. Then I made my stop for fuel, and noticed on the pit exit that two of my tires were in the yellow, then a few laps later Brent was on the charge after me (he either got new tires or he was saving the originals), he was hounding me and I was doing my best to just run fast laps to keep 3rd, then with about 10 or less minutes to go he was gone, I didn't know what happened until I came round to the slow left hander again that I saw him on the side, looked like he got hit with a connection issue, which sucked because we were having a great battle, would have been fun to have that fight going to the end. Tricky track with a few hairy bends to pass on, traffic was a helpful factor in my case both chasing and being chased, glad my tires barely lasted out though. Hope Brent has his DC sussed out, the battle for the whole race was a blast

Yeah the whole 50 minutes was a blast running so close to 3 or 4 guys. Gary I think you got past me on the pitstop exchange...my mileage was better than I thought and I shouldnt have taken as much fuel on the stop which cost me some seconds. I did take tyres and that was gonna be a heckuva fight the last 10 minutes. Another great track.

Hi All--
This was a tough one; my strategy was to select medium tires for the speed they allowed, and change them (15-16 sec. at the stop, in exchange for about 1 sec./lap on the track). However, with Sandy's speed, I burned them up! I may need to be more conservative next time.....
Again, I want to thank everyone for the sportsmanship shown in allowing the leaders by; also to say it isn't necessary to go off the track, just lift off and go off the racing line if you decide to allow a pass, and that will be enough.
As always, what a great league! Thanks, Ced.

I think James is working on an Anti Squirrel repelling device as well and he was demo'ing it on Susan's car last nite ;D. Had fun battling with her and every time I attempted to pass or get racy, off the track I went....lol...Ok so maybe it was me Look forward to the next stop.

[glow=red,2,300]then from what I briefly saw of the replay Greg was hit with a lag attack, and went from 3rd down to 7th?[/glow]
i wish--ended up going from 2nd to 11th on lap1 thanks to my 5-6 second screenfreeze. luckily, i didn't disco and avoided warping back on track right in front of another car. had to change my strategy bigtime but really didn't have anything for most of the porsches. pulled a hail mary qual lap out for 2nd but would've been lucky to keep terry, sandy and brent in sight after a couple laps anyway.
stayed out until on fumes and took fuel only, setting up a nice battle for position between me and paul who took fresh tires and thankfully stayed in the pits for repairs, a restroom break and a 'quick' cthulhu espresso.
caffeine charged, he reeled in my 20 sec. lead in about a dozen laps, setting us up for late battle that never happened.
on the last lap my friend mr. lag/warp/murphy visited again exiting the hairpin & i spun right in front of paul, who deftly avoided me and snatched 4th--humbug!
could've joined brent on the sidelines, so i'm happy to have finished and made up some positions.
congrats sandy & terry
