We need both fast and slow tracks so that everybody will have a chance to do well over the course of the year, and you can help.
Post your suggestions for a track you'd like to run and tell us a little bit about it.
I've got some ideas in mind including my perennial unpicked favorite, Oulton Park and maybe even Singapore GP, which surprised me by providing very good racing at the recent TPTCC race there -- that is a good example of a track where the P2s would have just as good a chance at a win as a P1.
But it's your turn now. Try not to pick tracks with any strangeness like invisible walls or pit entrances on a 200 mph racing line. One thing to keep in mind is that the ILMS cars have tremendous downforce so they overwhelm some tracks such as Mosport or Goodwood -- it would be best for tracks to have some genuinely slow turns to create passing opportunities.
Thanks for your help and all suggestions will be considered.

ISTANBUL is an absolute must IMHO. Turn 8 is a complete blast and it is certainly one of the nicest tracks in F1.
VITUS, I think it is called, is a new fantasy track at rfactorcentral.com and has multiple layouts and after a quick couple of laps I think this may be a P2 track even though it is quite long, it looks very technical with lots of twisty bits.
Glad you mentioned Oulton Park....what about DONINGTON, future home of the British Grand Prix (possibly?) .

Singapore and Istanbul are two terrific choices IMHO. I don't have any other suggestions yet, but if I think of any I will certainly post here.

Of course, there were some tracks that we ran last season that would be worth repeating. Aardvark and the short LeMans circuit (Bugatti?) come to mind.

istanbul (best tilke track so far..) miller motorsports park redux (maybe i'd get redemption) singapore gp zandvoort (from last season) abu dhabi gp (if ready..) portugal gp '88 (beauty!) gingerman (ha ha)
that last one would rival goodwood for mayhem ;D

VLM Rouen Les Essarts V101. A fantastic track Grand Prix de Paris is a possibility.

Glad to see you had Singapore on your list of possibilities. I might finish last there but the track is just so darn pretty with all the lights and color that I hope it's on the schedule.

Singapore is definitely a beautiful track. Besides that....if this is with lemans prototypes...
Spa-no brainer Sepang-I think would be good for racing Lemans-the place the cars were designed to run...maybe should be an extended race Brno-anybody know if this track is even available for rfactor St. Petersburg-mentioned slow track, either this or Long Beach Suzuka or Fuji-Suzuka better I think And........for those super computers, the eifel track

Yes, St Pete is a great track. One of the best street tracks out there. We just finished a VOR race at Singapore. 43 cars in 4 classes. Track held up fine, but there is a lot of detail so it might strain some of the older PCs out there. Really fun track to drive though. Sepang might be ok, Suzuki too. I can't stand Fuji though. I sent Paul 3 tracks I was interested in but I will repeat Brent's mention of Vitus. For a fantasy track it gets 2 thumbs up. A must run.
Sandy...Glad you like the choice of Aardvark. It was interesting...lol.

Rouen was a good track from when we ran it with the old sports car championship.
Infineon (although it's very bumpy in the first couple of corners and it wasn't a favourite when we ran the supercars there)?
Road One looks like a nice blend of slow corners and high speed sections, have not had a chance to try it out but from what I remember of GTP it was a nice track.

I won't reveal any specifics yet, but I've put together a tentative list of 16 tracks incorporating many of the suggestions above and a few others. They include the categories: New Generation F1, Street Meat, Euro Classics, American Classics and Bullrings, which is a set of tight and twisties that should be a lot of fun.
I'll start testing in earnest this week.

Has anyone tried the Eifel Track, looks interesting. Was there something up with the frame rate on that one, Justin?
See Suzuka was mentioned....kinda forgot about that, I sure put a lot of laps there in an F1 over the years.

Eifel is a very good track. Personally I don't have graphics issues but I can see some less powerful computers having issues. The best way I can say to test it is...ask everyone to dl it first and see if they can run it before making the schedule because it is a large track with lots of little details. If there are little to no issues, then I would say it is a great track to use.
