Team Fatboy will be there, but the racing budget has been affected by the economy(my pots only register to 90%), so we will be down on power.

shouldn't have attempted to race today--my week has been a hellfest of trying to remove a nasty trojan and a set of replicant .exes from windows. won't let me run my spyware programs, defrag/error check, etc. twice during my short race it switched me to desktop and put the tmz gossip website blaring into my ears. torture!
sorry to nick for getting into him at t1 and generally getting in the way today--won't be back 'til i either have the install fixed or i nutscan the whole deal for a system upgrade (new mobo/hd/ram graphics + vista etc.) i'm running agp graphics on an ancient system, so maybe this is a blessing in disguise.
cya next time (maybe) greg #78 miska

First of, my apologizes to Leadsled. I hit him in the rear and seems it caused him damages and DNF. So sorry for that. By the way, Greg it is not my way to pass cars, i was just trying to avoid hitting you. After that it was a fun race in that speciall track for me; been there with Bob and Tom for the Daytona Rolex 24hrs in 2006.
Finally CONGRATS for Tom for his win in his home track.

A big HELL YEAH!! to my teammate Tom on winning the race yesterday. Great job man, totally had me covered. Brent and I were close to having a good battle but I guess the connection gremlins got him again Great fun though. Definitely looking forward to the next one. SandyR

Well it was a great race, just not for me. When you think you have a car trimmed out enough to be fast and you are still getting killed on the straight, it's just demoralizing. Kept it in the game for a while, staying with the pack. Was pretty gnarly under braking going into T1 but managed not to have any offs.
Big Kudos to Tom on the win. ;D

I had a blast racing on this track with these cars. Bob R. and I had a few battles and I thought I could catch him in the end but he was just a bit faster than I.
Looking forward to VIR, so see ya Sunday.

I meant to get to this a lot quicker but just got too busy. What a surprise to win Daytona! Judging from our practice race I knew the car would be good but I still never expect to win these things.....and wouldn't have this time if Brent didn't have a problem and some other things hadn't worked out perfectly for me. At the start Brent and Sandy (and I've to to compliment Sandy on the gorgeous paint, again!) were slowly pulling away but I was seemingly able to maintain a little gap on Scott and others. I started on a full tank and planned on a splash at the end and no tires. After the 30 minute mark I just kept adjusting the needed fuel down to make the stop as short as possible. Pitted when the indicator said I had 2 laps left and then started on that agonizing 35mph trip down pit road - watching Sandy get closer and closer as I crept along. Fortunately I got out with enough of a gap that he couldn't get back to me in the last few minutes of the race. Hallelujah, a 1-2 finish for the beautiful SBN/Crawford/Fords! (I don't expect to be so fortunate at Laguna Seca since much more skill is required to win there.)

Hey guys, I'm sorry. It's my fault Tom beat us. When I met him as a neighbor he was into that roundy round racing. I introduced him to turning right. You'd think he'd appreciate that but instead he turns around and beats me like a drum every time I race him :-)

LOL, Bob. That's not always the case.....I'm toast on the more technical tracks. Daytona was just a flawless race for me.
