Red Weasel Racing pulled into Laguna Seca with only Weasel Wench's car on the truck. Head Weasel was called out of town at the last minute and his car was left at the Ultra Secret testing facility. Weasel Wench had a fair race with a few OTE's but with little to no damage. Once again finishing 6th for the 3rd race in a row. I thought it was a very nice, clean race for all and I hated to see when people dropped from the race. Looking forward to Watkins Glen.....which is my favorite track. Until next time..........Susan........Weasel Wench

Another nice job during the race, Susan. You were a topic of conversation post race.....all good. One of those heathens said, "Susan isn't Susan anymore" when conveying how very good you have become. As for my race.....it went very well until I pitted. I wasn't going to change tires so when we were sitting on the grid I changed the pit stop to "no change." Unfortunately, I failed to do that when we restarted In the lead with just a few minutes left I pitted for what I thought was going to be a few seconds of fuel. Well, 39 seconds and new tires later I came out 4th.....and ready to puke! Got back to third when someone else made a late pit stop but couldn't get back to Terry who had a fine 2nd place finish. Congrats to Sandy on another great win. I just wish I could have made it a 1-2 SBN Crawford/Ford finish. On to the Glen.......I hope. We will be at a bowling tournament next weekend and I might not get back in time. I hope to, but it will be close. With that said, I plan to practice as if I'll make the race so if anyone wants to do some on line practice when it's on the server I'll be glad to join you. Just give me some notice and I can make it at various times. Tom To

Oh Thanks a lot Tom...lol ;D
I have to bow to the "One of those heathens said, Susan isn't Susan anymore". Because I was the one that said it. But it is all in good comment. You have become one to be reckoned with, even beating Head Weasel....Which I'm sure makes for good dinner conversation (Over Weasel juice) and him not wanting to get a moto for you...lol. I am very proud at the advance you have made with this, Keep on trucking.
I was looking for the repeat after I won my cart race on Saturday at HighPlains, But who was I kidding...lol. I like Laguna but found myself in strange situations and losing time. Oh well thats racing. Look out at The Glen.

I'm glad I could make this race, since it's been over a month since the last race, and I had gone through reloading my system, so I didn't know if I was going to run into the gremlins that plagued me when I first got the system running, and I had never raced online with the DP Turtles (as they are lovingly known at the ALMS unofficial fan forum).
Found out I was using the previous version of Laguna when trying to get on the server, sorted that out, then ran into Terry being an unknown, sorted that out as well.
My setup seemed a little faster at this version of the track, I shaved about 4 seconds of my personal best at version 1.1, still 1 1/2 seconds off the leaders pace, but not bad with a 1.27.4.
The start of the race was a little tricky, these cars rev like they are going to smoke the tires and then it's like traction control kicks in and it turns into a granny start, you have to smoke the tires to get off the line, by that time I was down to 7th from a 6th place start, I saw Jean-Pierre get a good start off the line and made a gutsy move on Greg down the inside of turn 1, I was keeping up with the two of them then Greg had a slight off at turn 17, that allowed me through, and somehow Brent had a slight off, so when he made it back on track he was having a heck of a fight with Greg over 6th.
Brent got passed me after a few laps, so I was trying to keep up with him while he was catching up Jean-Pierre, not sure what happened later on but when approaching the Cork Screw, I noticed Jean-Pierre was in the tire wall at the top of the turn, so I'm back up to 5th again.
Greg was catching back up to me, I figured now was a good time as any to get some fresh tires and some fuel (although after seeing a replay of a few guys stops maybe i should have just got gas?), I was amazingly in 6th place upon leaving the pits; I didn't think I would make any ground now as the field ahead of me was a long way off, then Brent had something weird going on at the second left hander, and I think he was a lap ahead at the time, and with about 5 minutes to go Greg made another stop and I was able to make it to 4th for the end of the race.
I can't be anything else but happy with that result, for a first time outing with this car, and not being on this version of the track before.
Now I just got to see what I can do with the DTM cars using the Audi.
