That was one terrific race. I didn't get to watch the battle up front but back in the pack we were slugging it out. On the second lap I had to check up to keep from rear ending th head weasel and in the process the weaslette nailed. Wasn't her fault. Just a racing incident. I lost my wing and the rest of the race was like racing on ice. One benefit was a better top end. But that ended in the fourth lap when my Pontiac motor started belching smoke. I thought I might just as well keep on plugging and wait for it to grenade. Never happened. I think Pierre was chasing me just waiting for me to blow. Sorry but those Pontiacs are tough.
I hope I didn't bump anyone in that hectic start and first lap. I was having good race with Nasella, Bowders and Pierre. And of course Susan was right there too. The bossman, Ced, tried to pass me but I made my Riley as wide as possible. Finally got away from him. I certainly had a great time. I love this mod. Too bad I've had to miss so many of the races. Looking forward to the next season. Racing with the greatest racers I've ever had the pleasure to compete against. Not only are they good but they are great sportsmen ( and women ) Ced, you have a great league.

Red Weasel Racing
Race Line: Mid Ohio
Oh, the glory of Sunday racing. The Weasel trailers pulled into the trackside lot early in the week. It would seem the Mr. Jerry Rig and his current love interest Miss Lucy Lugnuts had planned on getting in early so that they could explore romantic possibilities in and around the area.
Miss Susan had been busy during the week and was late getting into the track so she hadn't had much track time before Sundays race. But before anyone suggest that Miss Anita Spanking get involved with disciplinary actions against the Wench the Head weasel was just as guilty. I have been out in Hawthorne, Nevada working again. Yes again...bad evil robots...where was I?
Qualifying went well enough for the Weasels, mid to rear of pack, our favorite places. With the green came a wild ride as I think I was the last one to make it out and away from the line as what appeared to be all hell breaking loose behind a curtain of smoke. And the Race Stewards were on top of it and called a restart due to "insert your favorite negative word here" start.
With the reGreen we were again underway but this time it would stick and off we went like fast thing in a faster thing Terry and Sandy were gone, the Head Weasel weaseled his way into third and was running strong planning on an early pit then race to the end he reentered the track P8 but the plan was as pits cycled he would regain his P3 spot. The Weasel Wench held her own and went wide a couple of times but recovered and would Weasel on for what should be yet another P6 finish or so we thought.
Interruptions came to James, calls from work requiring immediate attention pulling the Head Weasel into the Pits to take a phone call, let's just call it an intervention to Planet Express' Bender Bending Rodriguez going on a "Kill all humans!" binge. After what was an eternity on the phone the 92 returned to the track to finish the race with a 5 lap deficit. But then that is why he gets paid that big money. Of course that means none of it fits into his wallet or vending machines.
So we pack out the trailers and head down the road, the Weasel Wench still doing the Happy Dance because she is dominating the Head Weasel in this series and that is enough for her.
Until next time..

The Love Hate Track of Mid Ohio. Yes I love this track but always seem to have some kind of bad luck. As Bob mentioned I put on the attack and tried to pass. I saw he had no wing and was waiting for him to loose it in a corner...loose it in a corner....loose it in a corner. Never happened and then he started to gap me. So the humility of getting pulled by a car with no wing just deflated the ego. Good run and control Bob.
I always love James' recaps of the Weasel adventures. Reminds me of my rants when I'm not so wrapped up in work. Keep up the entertainment my friend. I think you are missing your calling. You could be the next Quentin Tarantino, but don't know it...lol.
SBN had these down but MOMO was right there. The Weasel Wench held serve and represented RWR while Team MOMO's Bob had some good runs when he could.
Well Done Everyone
